Easy Idea For Next Release: Average Age
Would it be possible to do a report under the MLB pulldown menu/reports options where you could see "average age" of each MLB roster? Rank them 1-30? Would be a fun way to correlate your youth or veteran roster as compared to the rest of league and another way to gauge how to handle your roster.
Just an idea! |

Wasn't this something that appeared in some past versions?

I don't think so. I'd love to see this as well, and ideally as part of the reports screens for previous seasons since bb-ref displays it. I will say that I'd prefer the average age to be pro-rated by PA / BFP rather than weighting each player equally (not sure if bb-ref goes to that extent or not but in an OOTP sense, you really just need to make that calculation once at the end of the season and then you're done).

I'd also like to see a report like this (it includes age, plus tons more):
