First Rounder Retires At Age Of 19 Same Season

My first round pick was 18 when I selected him. After three months at rookie ball, he retired at 19.

No chance to talk him out of it, no money back???

I can't even.

Sounds like a storyline. Turn that off if you don’t want this possibility.

I am replaying MLB from 1993 forward, and the Chicago White Sox #1 draftee got an MLB Contract and less then a month later they waived him. He now plays form the Colorado Rockies (my team). Todd Walker was not a bad player, and he has no obvious warts. Storyline, or glitch?

If they waived him, it is bad AI or bad luck and circumstances. A team giving up on a player for him to break out on another team isn't unheard of. You just didn't notice the thousands of waived players who got sent into the minors and died a quiet death instead.

TBF though a team generally doesn’t give up on a first round pick 1 month after they drafted him...
