Instead of 20K in the Dailies, it will be 2 Historical Packs? Ugh! I'd rather buy 20 regular packs with the 20K. I'm chasing Peak Pedro, so I need quantity over quality.

I did get two fairly useful silver cards I didn't have.

Here is mine for the Denver Bears. Hoping Turkey Stearns performs like he did in my solo league.

A fun gimmick, but if you're after historical diamonds and perfects (which is why you open packs in the first place), regular packs is still hands-down the way to go. With these packs you're 3.3x as likely to get a historical diamond/perfect since all diamonds/perfects are historical but at the same drop rate, yet you're paying 10x for the privilege.
maybe worth cracking a pack or two for the novelty, but I'm with Bailey above on this one.

LOL ... well it is a 70's and 80's theme team that pulled that beauty, so it fits. Though, to be fair, my pre-1960's team bought a Historic pack and pulled a Diamond Victor Cruz, which sells for around the cost of the pack. So it got a free Gold 1969 McCovey. I know, not quite fitting the theme. But maybe he'll help a bit at DH.

I guess I am confused. Why, if they are the same basic quality as a gold pack, do they cost a much as a diamond pack?

They are all historical with no live cards. Gold packs are full of live garbage most of the time.

I guess I'm missing something? So, for double the price, you get a gold card guaranteed? Is there something better about a "historical" iron card than a regular iron card? Oh, and better odds for silver and bronze? Big deal, those cards won't even get on the 25 man roster. For 15k, I get a diamond guaranteed. Seems like a way better value. What is so great about these packs?

That's what I said. I accidentally on purpose accidentally posted in the 19 PT forum, though. & that they should unfold/unwrap rather than rip...looks like the top of the cards are being torn off.
