Okay, great. I'll take a look at these once I've got some free time tonight. I thought you originally said the Topeka logo needed work, sorry! I do like what you've designed for this so I'll see if I can get it added tonight. Thanks for the help!

Need Help from Spreadsheet Gurus
In an effort to make doing two sets of standings a little less time consuming, I post the stats in Google sheets. However, when I use the sort function to sort them by winning pct., some of the formula references get screwed up. It seems somewhat random.
Here;s what I do: I highlight the cells I want to sort, including the header at the top of the columns, but not the title header. Then I define the sort range to sort the data from high pct. to low using that column only. It sorts the standings correctly, but I usually get several #ref errors in the loss column. Once I straighten those out it does fine, and the pct. sort is correct as it stood. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it that I can discern. I've tried eliminating the header row from the sort, but that seems worse. Any thoughts? It's killing the time savings. Thanks. |

If your sorting is messing with the rows/columns and resulting in changes to the cells you're referencing, try making it an absolute reference. It would look like $C$10 and then it would always reference cell C10 regardless of any sorting changes. I might be misunderstanding your problem though.

What formulas do you use to add up the numbers? Just looking at the results you present, I would guess that for, say, New Zealand, to get their wins you sum across the row labeled New Zealand. Then to get the losses you sum down the column with NSF. It's got to be a problem with the loss formula - you must have some sort of weird addition going on where, when you sort the rows, it ends up trying to add values from above or below the table (which would lead to the #ref errors).
Can you post the formula in the sheet adding up the wins/losses for one team? Or give a link to it? |

here's a snapshot of my league win/loss tracking sheet (I know everyone has their own style/etc).... basically each team gets two columns (wins / losses), and those are summed up at the bottom.... at the far left, those wins/losses are pulled over and the winning percentage is calculated.... all the team columns/rows in this section never change position and never get sorted/moved around.... the 0 entry is just an empty column at the end where a new team can be added in when more teams move up....
for the sortable chart to post for standings, I do what Maxfire5 mentioned and have another chart just below that have absolute references to all four columns (team name / wins / losses / pct)... that way I can sort those and they will always reference the same cells regardless of order |

The Boppers bullpen cannot compete at this level. That's why we're going down. Nothing I can do about it now. Until I get some more lucky pulls, they are doomed to be stuck in that "too good for diamond, not good enough for perfect" sandwich.
I'm never one to mince words, so I'll just say it bluntly. Becoming a yo-yo team sucks. Last edited by Magus978; 09-03-2019 at 10:36 PM. |

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...St0/edit#gid=0 Here's a link (I hope) to one of them, post sort, but with the formulas corrected. Thanks to you and all the others for your suggestions. Anyone can feel free to check it out. I kinda like having the team vs. team records in there. The wins are just the basic sum across, i.e., Melaka is =Sum(B4:P4); the losses are the columns down, again Melaka =SUM(E3:E17). Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 09-03-2019 at 10:43 PM. |

The Jefferson Valley Rebels (Edster007D) will be ready to join next week.
I wanted to do another theme-this time it's going to be an all New York team comprised of Yankees, Mets, Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. I am going to try to keep it to all NY cards so no LA or SF cards. My original thought was to keep it all pre 1957 but based on the AH that is going to be too difficult. |

D374 Update
Pandas Claw Their Way to Top of Diamond OL
The Pablo Pandas rode a 13-5 month to the top of the heap in Diamond. There still remain a number of contenders though, as Motown, Cooper, and Topeka keep up the chase. |

Thats a good assumption. I have only purchased six players so far, had 3 from my opening packs and have 7 bids I’m waiting on. Four of the six are training at other positions so my defense is abysmal set my ballpark for max offense so I score a ton but give up 2 tons. With all that grabbed 2k points having 2 games in 3 days where we turned 6 DP’s I have friended iron and bronze. I’m about 15 games under .500 truth is dont pay much attention to the standings in entry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
