Understandable, just like I do give more crap about my OL team than the other two. But I probably wouldn't if I had 3 teams in OL. Too bad I can only afford 1 license and I want to have multiple playstyles.

Looking forward to joining the OL group on Monday, I've been selling off Lives and FLs for the past couple of weeks in preparation.
Team is currently in gold with the possibility of being promoted to diamond. If you're in silver, gold or diamond, please add this team to your friends list: username: BlackSwan team: Washington Senators - OL Many thanks! |

A bit of topic...(apologies) but one of my sons has been asking me to give a quick update to Kushiel. They have similar ideas for their players and he ended up with one of his cards from the AH.
Kushiel started the training process at 1B and my son finally finished at the end of last season. He trained the 2017 All-Star Corey Seager to 104 Defense and platooned him for almost the entire season in Diamond league (Seattle Endless Summer team). He is no Helton, Carew, or other top contact WAR producer. However, he has been able to produce a decent stat line for Diamond league: .263 AVG, .353 OBP, .794 OPS, and may get to about 2.6 WAR. If you just look at his vs. RHPs stats, the numbers are slightly higher: .360 OBP, .823 OPS, 131 OPS+, and 2.7 WAR. Fielding wise, he will probably get a Golden Glove, about 100 Double players, 5+ ZR and 1.068 EFF. From an investment standpoint, it is probably still better to go the Wes Parker or Keith Hernandez route but he wanted to try something different and his team has been doing great despite the average numbers on the card. Also, he is very jealous of your current card. Hope you have the Record Breaker card from 2000.

Things are very tight in Gold .300 for the playoffs. We (the Cincinnati Redlegs) are currently tied for the final wild card spot with an non-OL team. Over in the Central division, Motown has a 1/2 game lead over a non-OL team, but if they lose that they will fall behind us and out of the playoffs.
Cooper, Harlem and Annandale are all comfortably ahead in their divisions. So lets get some positive thoughts that we and Motown can hang on and we'll have 5 (out of 6) OL teams in the playoffs. P.S. Annandale is currently on a 4-game winning streak. So much for the September swoon!

For playoffs in Perfect, there will be one OL team that goes to playoffs as division winner: Southern Southpaws in AL West (fwiw: every team in AL West is OL, so that was guaranteed to be OL). There will also be either three or four Wild Card Teams that are OL, but who exactly it will be is not yet clear.

Big series between the Roncalli Rebels and joehart's son's Endless Summer squad is about to go down. SES is holding on to a 1.5 game division lead over the Rebels. Roncalli is hoping to take the series to finish over .500 in OL play, possibly earning a playoff berth in the process.

Endless Summer grabs the first game 3-2 and guarantees themselves to leave the series with the division lead. The Rebels respond with a 6-7 win to climb back within 1.5 games of the lead. Pudge's solo shot in the tenth secured the series win for the SES, 2-1. Great series and good luck moving forward! Hopefully I can sneak in as a wild card team and we can do this again!

I will be adding a second OL team in 2034 as I am revamping a current team to make it OL-compliant. Please add:
Username: BigRed90 Team Name: Scullytown Barbers The real question will be if we will stay in Silver or be relegated to Bronze. I'll let you know in a couple of hours.

Whoever wins the second wildcard in S300, you can thank my endless death spiral for giving it to you on a silver platter, pun intended. Hard to be upbeat when you go 29-49 from July 1st onwards. It really is so demoralizing knowing any changes you make will not end a prolonged run of awful RNG luck. I think I've made every change under the sun to try and break this massive slump, only to be met with mocking laughter from the RNG
![]() I'm not even moaning anymore, even though it sounds like it (trust me it isn't, I'm getting that off my chest elsewhere). I'm just shell-shocked by the whole thing. Guess someone has to be the unlucky one around here, and RNGjesus picked me. Maybe 7th (or 8th, I've lost count) time lucky next week?

Diamond league update:
Despite going 2-7 in OL league play to finish out their schedule, Green Lake managed to secure the OL title, partially due to their 9-2 start to the OL season, and partially due to the fact the rest of the OL teams beat each other up enough to drag one another down. In the overall picture.... Green Lake has secured the top spot in the NC, and is only 3 games back of the best record in the league and home field advantage throughout the post season; and will await the winner of the wild-card game for their first LDS opponent. Waffletown has secured the division title in the AC Central, but will most likely end up 3rd overall in the conference and will head to Annapolis to start the LDS. While the NC Central and West divisions are still up for grabs, the Seattle Endless Summer has secured at worst a wild card spot as they push hard to hold off OL rival Roncalli for the NC Central title. Roncalli hopes to make up the 2.5 game deficit, or at minimum nab a wild card spot. Likewise in the NC West, the Seattle Pilots have secured a wild card spot as well, but have their sights set on the division title as they are only 1 game back. In the AC West, while the division title has already been won by Annapolis, Transylvania is only 1 game back of the second wild card spot; so a post season birth isn't out of the question. |

We might be the worst playoff team in the history of PT.
After finishing the season 80-82 thanks to a 4-1 October, a game 163 was necessary against fellow OL opposition Terra Incognita Rustlers. New York won 6-5 on NC batting champion Curt Flood sacrifice fly. The woeful Patriots are 81-82 and are going to the postseason whether they deserve it or not. (Spoiler: They don't.)
