Knock on wood, but it looks like the coast is clear for the Cowboys in Diamond this week as we finally don't have to lose the division to a whale.

Hope the team can hang on as I haven't made upgrades in a while and am sitting on over 55k PP. I notice a couple times a week there's a screaming buy here or there on the AH so I'm waiting patiently. Have to be careful with players in this price range as a F2P team. Paying too much can waste a whole week's PP haul.

Vikings and Crayons aren't expected to win many games yet, still rounding out the rosters or training players. Love building teams!

Rough first month for the Athletics at Bronze level. 9-18 and worst record in the entire league. I've got 7705PP waiting to be spent so I think I'll need to get that utilised quick-smart to avoid relegation.

As the first month comes to an end, here is a league snapshot of our Silver league.

Given that there are so many good OL teams, I decided to point out a few of them below (if you team is not listed, you may not have -OL in the name and I did not have time to check and identify your team...apologies. Please help us add -OL to your team).
Many of the teams have a good chance to also be part of the playoffs.

AC East:
Salem Witches hold the top spot with a terrific 20-7 record.
Still trying to keep up with the leaders are the Harlem Hatchets (13-13).


AC Central:
Asylum Keepers are still close to the division leader (13-12, 1.5 games behind).


AC West:
Janesville Onyx and Port Ruppert Mundys are just 0.5 and 2 games behind the division leader.
Keep it up and win the division!!!


NC East:
3 OL teams in the division.
New York Patriots hold the top spot at 13-12 together with the Sanguine Classics at 14-13.
Still in the run for the division title are the Palolo Puppies (13-13 record, 0.5 games behind).


NC Central: No OL team.


NC West:
Our very own Seattle Endless Summer hold the top spot at 18-8.
Unfortunately, no other OL team in the division.

After 9 seasons in the Bronze League the Asheboro Road Dogs have finally made it to Silver. Right now we are taking our lumps. We have been transitioning to a Negro League club and at the moment have 13 Negro League players on the active roster. I have never paid attention to the Negro Leagues before and this is a great way to learn about the players.

Wheww... an FTP team (in diamond, no less!) with 55k in PP points? I am so jealous. The bunnies have never had more than 18k at one time, and when they do, it burns a hole in their pocket.

That is a smart strategy, once you get to perfect you can spend those points and be competitive immediately.

Another strategy you could use is to wait until collections start next week and use that currency to buy cards on the auction house to fill those collections.

Could you please add the -OL to your name? It is hard to keep track of all of them especially when there are so many leagues and teams.
It would really help the folks trying to do the daily math as well.

There's a player I want for ~50k and a player I want for ~20k so I'm being patient. After I get those guys I think it'll be mostly pitching upgrades, which seem to run at 20k-50k at least. I think once your team reaches a certain level, upgrades are very expensive for a F2P team! Especially if a certain theme narrows the available talent pool.

I try to buy at a discount, both because of F2P and because I want to be able to re-sell them at least even after commission if the cards have stats on them. My damn OCD requires mint players. Also why I can't add the -OL to my teams.

Crayons is my collector account, so Cowboys and Vikings have to have all PP available for upgrades. We'll see how the Collections shakeout though, there might be some great fits for Our League.

Yeah, I had a crazy moment when I bought the 20k guy, realized he had stats and went to re-sell. But then the 50k guy went on the market for 39k PP. No buyers for my 20k guy until it was too late...
