No debate here. I always smile when I see the Puppy on my schedule!

and then you realize those cute puppies are actually bloodthirsty attack dogs (of the 7 OL teams my boys have faced 20 or more times, my worst lifetime record is against the Puppies at 20-19.... them dogs are tough)

A Reminder:
Be sure to set up your team name with "-OL" exactly Don't use (OL) or put a space in it (like - OL). You can put spaces before it, just make sure that the three characters "-OL" are all together like these examples: Stark Industries Iron Men -OL Tracy Island Thunderbirds -OL Turner Outcasts -OL Bonus points if you get the last reference....

Tylerh is the handle. Woodinville Infinite Power the team. He added you. So far he is holding his own in Perfect. Winning the ones he should win and getting some other wins here and there. He has been undecided on his DH spot for Perfect. As a contact team, he uses Carew87 right now but he considered moving Carew back to 1st and NomarG to the reserve. He was hoping to see how your Nomar is doing at 1B in Perfect league before making a decision.

I take it you're handling gold this year. Thanks. I'm just now going to put up the S272 schedule. The dryer I had to fix twice in the last three months finally died after only about 12 years, so I had to go out and get another, and put it in. Wonder how my teams are doing. |

After I showed them Excel, they learned quickly how to export all the year end stats for all our teams and they use that to look for players. After all these seasons and some teams in Gold-Perfect, it did not take them long to identify “performance” trends for players that do extremely well through most of the early levels. Too bad the year end data does not have a field for ballpark averages. Some player results can be pretty misleading if they play in a hitter friendly park. My Sad Hill Hunters team got lucky as the only -OL team in a weak Iron league so starting last minute has not caused too many problems (22-4 record so far). Hopefully I will get pulled into the OL league next season.

Schedule for Our League S272 - 2030
As always, this is the entire schedule, so some games have been played. Hopefully we have a close race, because a lot of teams have late-season games on their OL sked. I believe Sanguine plays it's last 10 of the season versus OL teams. Wheatland plays nearly 60% of it's games against OL foes. Good luck to all.

BREAKING: Frank Viola pitched the 2nd no-hitter in New York Patriots history on April 15th against the Asheboro Road Dogs! The man known as "Sweet Music" walked 3 and faced 1 short of the minimum as the Patriots won 2-0, out-dueling a fine performance by opposing pitcher John Donaldson. Both pitchers went the distance, but a Jose Reyes RBI single and a Tony Gwynn RBI double sealed Donaldson's fate.

Eh, I think Vikings is still my primary rival. We joined OL at the same year so there's a history reason too. Horrors are more like...a team that I want to beat but can't beat(so far)? I see them as the Iron boss, which fits the theme of the team. |

Through April, Annandale holds a slight lead in the OL Gold league, with Cooper right on their tail with one more loss. Terra Incognita has yet to play an OL game and will have to wait until the second week of May for their first match.

It's a fantastic squad that should EASILY win promotion. If that were my squad and we didn't get promoted this week, something would go flying out the window
