One of FTP teams this year is packs only. It is terrible waiting on a poor team to get better with only packs especially with the no live cards limitation I am using. I may have to loosen up the packs only rule for that team.

yeah, pack-only is tough enough with no restrictions... but as packs are set to return 70%ish live cards on average, that makes it much more painful to try and build a team

Opening packs is an addictive part of the game, but also the reason the Hatchets haven't achieved, despite having Walter Johnson at the top of the rotation. Fortunately for Walter and the rest of the Hatchets, in selling off my live cards, the first pack I opened had a perfect Bryce Harper, which I sold for 27K. This allowed a few key pickups at the auction house. Watch out for the Hatchets in 2023!

typically get 2 packs a week from challenge mode here for Waffletown... never expect much from them besides filler for the reserves for potential tourney players; but did manage to land a nice min-cash cow over the weekend (96 rated David Robertson)... was able to sell him for 15K, so he funded a little spending spree just in time for the weekly post-season purge many teams go through to clear out/retool their squads... picked up three pitchers and a new outfielder with the proceeds

now it's time to be patient and let the war chest rebuild; and hope my new additions live up to the price I paid out for 'em.

I've been thrown into Iron .151, and apparently I'm all by myself even though I set it to put me with people on my friends list.

Guess the Patriots aren't really taking part in Our League play until 2024 at the earliest

With Aina Haina, Kaneohe, and Ewa Beach off in their own world, my our League focus this season will be strictly on the Palolo Puppies. Repeatedly making personnel changes has definitely taxed the Puppies' PP. However, they were able to make a few changes to improve their horrible offense.

I'm assuming Treydmarq decided not to join the group this is the third straight week his two teams (Troy Trojans and Central Bobcats) failed to show up in the Bronze/Silver leagues with the rest of the group; so I'd guess it's because his settings are either not on 'use friends list' or he doesn't have any of the group friended.

Just remember, as long as your teams are playing Our League rules, your games against other Our Leaguers, (including playoffs) will be added to your lifetime record in the Big Book, actually just a sheet of paper for now. So, those of you in a league with only two or three other teams should report those results at the end of the season. This year that would be the gold and diamond league teams. To recap the title guidelines - a league must contain at least four Our League teams to compete for a crown. A team needs to have at least 10 Our League games to be eligible. Sorry, but anything less than that is not particularly meaningful. I am using the address kidheckett@gmail.com for Our League communications exclusively, but please hold your end of the season W-L in non quorum leagues until the season is over. Almost forgot, I am planning to post the first All Time Standings after the first five seasons. Good luck to all, time to check the schedules (and maybe my teams' progress).

Nice pack mcdog! I'm afraid to buy packs with my team because I feel the PP are so difficult to come by that when I get enough to buy an upgrade, I want that upgrade. That means I'll probably never get the longshot upgrade, but tell the truth, my pack opening luck is so blah that a couple of packs here and there aren't gonna help me.

I learned my lesson from PT19.


I can't keep track of how much PP I wasted on buying packs instead of handpicking players off of the AH.



It could have easily made a big difference on the success of my team.


In PT20, the only packs I open now are the few I get from Challenge Mode; which still help re-enforce my actions as the last two foil packs I opened, the top rated player in each pack was 66!
