Palolo has Shasta starting shortly. And a ton of games against Asheboro upcoming. Asheboro looks to have a team well balanced with offense and defense. Palolo's game is power. For now, some teams are moving up at accelerated paces while others are lagging behind. The league is scattered across 4 levels the best I can see. One level is optimal. Two is doable as shown by Orcin's league in PT 19. The down side to me is that it appears to me that you are trying to keep a league standings of games played against one another separate from the game standings. When/if there is the better part of one or two leagues to fill so that we are all just playing the OOTP PT game and not a game within the game, I will be interested. it'll probably take a few weeks at least for all the levels to fill in and the mass-promotions to go by the wayside.... once it settles down to the standard 4 or so teams moving up and down, it will make it easier to settle into a friend's league....

course, the sooner more people join up, the sooner we can fill a tier...

The schedule makers in PT came up with a way to keep the Mudville Muffins from defending their 2020 Our League title, by exiling them to the AC West. They will play, in fact have played, only three qualifying games, not enough for championship consideration. They will finish at 2-1.

The rest of the remaining Our League schedule for I235 in 2021, with team's current record in parentheses:

Arkham Horrors, NC West (1-2) - 7 home (H); 8 away (A)
Daytona Beach Pickleballers (2-1), NC Central - 13 H' 10 A
Gotham Knights (1-2), NC Central - 11 H, 12 A

The Keepers broke out in Our League, winning five straight en route to an 8-4 record in yesterday's sim, while the Atom Smashers went 4-1, to take over the top spot. The Bears fell from first, going 3-6 to slide to .500. Asheboro, 6-4, Shasta, 5-3, and Waffletown, 4-3, were all on the plus side as the pack chasing pace setter Annadale tightened and grew.

Best of Today's Sim (BOTS)

The Battery Point Knuckleheads used a 14-hit attack, featuring six home runs, to edge Asylum, 10-9. The Keepers, who slugged three out themselves, came back from an early 8-2 deficit, tying the game on Joe DiMaggio's three-run blast in the top of the 9th. In the home half, Chris Speier and Gary Sheffield, who each belted a pair over the wall, used their legs instead. Speier, leading off, drew a four-pitch walk from Luis Arroyo. Hanley Ramirez singled him to second and Sheffield hit a bouncer to second that seemed destined to be a double-play, but he raced to first, beating Barry Larkin's relay throw by a half-step, sending Speier to third. George Springer delivered the winning run with a sac fly.

Aside to potential scribes: Your own submissions of BOTS, or any other commentary on Our League play are more than welcome. If we can get to a point where we have a half-dozen or so a day, maybe we could make it a separate thread. Thoughts? Takers?

Real life intervened a bit last night. Had to fix my dryer, successfully, thank goodness, so I didn't have time to seek out BOTS, but in G318, Kaneohe is 4-1, Port Ruppert 2-3,with both Ewa Beach and Seattle at 1-2.

In S261, Aina Haina is 4-3, Terra Incognita 2-2, Wheatland 1-2, with Ozark yet to begin play.

I235 is unchanged from the previous schedule post due to the intervention cited above.

This is a great concept, I'd like to join. My PT username is Argonaut, and my team is the Green Lake Cowboys. I'm in Silver and trying to stay there this week and not get promoted. Have stayed F2P.

I just finished converting my lineup to be Our League eligible last night. My favourite player in modern MLB, Joey Gallo, was the last LIVE card to go to auction. Rangers fan.

Let me know if there's anything else I need to do.

I tell you, I don't know what's wrong with us Knuckleheads this year (i.e. week). We have the talent, we just aren't putting it together. I did pick up Carlton Fisk to strengthen the catcher position... hope that's good enough to jump-start this team ;-)

I will add you to my friends list. You might want to look back a page or two in this thread to find the most recent master list to get a jump start on adding names to yours. Bottom Of The Sixth maintains it and gets a fresh one out for the upcoming week. See you next year. By the way, if being a Ranger fan extends to hockey (and it should), you can be as delighted as I am that the New York Rangers got the second pick in last night's lottery.

First, many thanks to Bottom Of The Sixth for sending me the screen shots to cobble together the standings for Our League I235. I put Mudville on a separate line because they will play only three games. Daytona Beach and Gotham are waging a tight battle for supremacy in the early scrums.

S261 and G318 had no Our League games scheduled.
