Some real close games in there. In the end, the better team won. Congrats!

Guess what, we lost the first game to Rancho Bernardo …

B'sin'Glou lost to the Twinsburg Tigers 3-2 in the Division Series.

Christy Mathewson shut them out on 3 hits in Game 1, and they could only manage 1 hit in Game 2. They recovered at home to win Game 3 by the score of 2-1, and then romped home 8-1 in Game 4 to give themselves some hope of snatching the series. Down 6-0 heading into the 9th they put on an angry display to score 4 but were stopped short.

So, onto silver next season. Still deciding whether to spend my PP or save.

Me and my ****ing ugly big mouth. Coons now down 3-1 in the LCS against 80-82 (!!) Rancho Bernardo. Walter Johnson allowed but three hits in Game 4... and took the 1-0 loss.

Nothing to do but load the crossbow and take good aim at the suckers as they trudge back to the dugout…

good first season for all 3 teams under my account.... old timey Waffletown Syrups won their division and head to their first LDS game in less than an hour...

my 'not sure what I want to do with them yet' O'Fallon Owls secured the 2nd wild card spot in their Iron league and won the WC game, so on to the LDS there as well....

and my daughter's 'so far it's a pack-only built, set it and forget it' team, the Lannisport Halfman secured the second wild card in their Iron league and won the WC game, so onto the LDS there....

lots of games to watch today
Syrups lost in the LCS 4 games to 1.... Halfman took their LDS to 5 games but went down 3-2....

and I'm claiming the Iron level championship for the Owls, regardless of the outcome.... my boys are the 87 win - 2nd wild-card team (that had to win a 1 game playoff just to get the wild card spot), won the wild-card game, took down a 103 win team in the LDS 3 games to 1; took down a 94 win team 4 games to 2 in the LCS.... now going up against the super-whale 143 win team (with 11 perfects and 14 diamond cards).... if my 1 gold/5 silver/19 bronze squad can take down this team, then I might be the greatest PT manager of all time.... lol

Ewa Beach 84-78, powered by an offense that scored 868 runs during the regular season, loses in the deciding game seven of the semifinals to a P2P team.

The Las Vegas Golden Lions nearly gave up a 3-1 lead in the LCS before winning game 7 by a run. Roy White has 4 HRs, 12 RBIs, and 10 runs in 45 at bats in the postseason, while Severino, Rodriguez, and Peacock have given up an average of 2 runs per start in their 9 games, though they are only a combined 2-2 (oddly, J.A. Happ has given up 9 runs in 2 starts and is 2-0). Bought a pack with the PP I got from making it to the finals and pulled Betances, so that could help. Unfortunately this is a F2P team and I'm going up against a team with 2 perfects and 9 diamonds, though the clearly most talented team in our conference was beaten in 4 games in the divisional series, so I figure I gotta have a puncher's chance. Severino has to be lights out though.

The Las Vegas White Tigers are also in the championship, winning the LCS 4-2 over the Mudskippers. Daniel Murphy is 15/31 with 6 doubles, 8 RBIs, and 6 runs in the postseason. Carrasco, Kluber, and Syndergaard all have sub-2.50 ERAs (though Kluber is unluckily 1-2 while the others are 2-0). My opponents have 4 perfect players in DeGrom, Syndergaard, Sale, and Jose Ramirez, plus Gerrit Cole and Manny Machado, but I think I have better batters overall.

Start Scherzer for Game 7 on 2 days rest because hes hot, he gives me 6.1 innings of 1 hit ball, we get to the 9th inning up 1-0 on the road only for Betances to give up 2 run in the 9th to cost the Puppies a trip to the World Series. Another supremely disappointing Sunday.

The New York Boroughs won their sub-league series in the most dramatic of fashions...a Game 7 win in 17 innings! After giving up a 2-0 lead by giving up runs in the 8th and 9th, the Boroughs held down the fort until they scored 2 runs with 2 outs in the top of the 17th. Sparky Lyle gave up a solo home run in the bottom of the 17th, but managed to close the door on an epic game.

The Boroughs now have to face the Breinigsville Battling Bees, who went 121-41 this season, in the Bronze Series. We'll see how this goes!

Our family's pack-only team, the "Catlandia Ecats" (yes, my nine-year old loves cats!) is in the World Series against the Mississauga Mustangs in Iron .202 …. and I just noticed that the Mustang's lead-off hitter is the same Gregory Polanco card that my AH team-only, the Duxbury Dragons, sold last year as his 2019 stats show him with DUX and the same awful, small sample stats that led me to sell him in the AH. I've been warned by my daughter that if Polanco gets revenge by defeating her team in the finals, I'll have some explaining to do....!

Sorry brother! Splittorff was pretty much on and Familia shut it down.

edit: That is tough, 8 shutout innings in game 7 and then Gwynn knocks in Aaron and Brock....

Verlander versus Gibson in game one of the world series in S273.

As always, I'll have to crash long before this is decided.

Welp, the Colts came back from 14 games back and in 3rd place to win the division by one game....defeating the division leader in the final game of the season to win the division by one game.

Then we got swept in the first round

It was a fun season though.

The Colts are now a fully equipped Astros Only theme team. I decided to zero out my available spending power so I can see how many points I can rack up over a full season, while changing out not even one single player (so my 25 man roster will stay exactly how it is for the entire week and I can see how well my team performs and earns over the entire week).

Slitteroff kicked my ass the entire series. I sat there for 20 minutes figuring out a lineup to use...good game

It's getting froggy up in here. Frogs fought their way to the Bronze .232 title. And this team had to go to game 163 just to win its division.
