can't believe this, blew silver world series 3-0 lead, now it goes to game 7.
Who should I start? Verlander at 80% rested or a Larry Dieker I just bought off auction house (so 100% rested)?

In what is certainly the coolest thing I've achieved in PT, the Gold Saucer Wonder Squares won their first championship in D369 by sweeping the finals—and Warren Spahn pitched a no-hitter in the clinching game. Don't think I'll ever top that.

25 minutes until Game 7 of the World Series against Gal's Heroes.
My Patrick Corbin (2-1, 4.70 ERA) against their James Paxton (1-2, 6.30 ERA). ![]() ![]() Should I let the actual Raccoons fly on autopilot from time to ti-NAH, too much of a control freak! ![]() Edit: HO-LY CRITTER. My team is 11-8 in the playoffs, so all series have gone the distance (we played in the wild card), and in the World Series we have clawed and scratched back from 0-3 …!

Well I got too happy about the 10-0 start... as I ended up 11-4, losing in game 7.
But was happy i went from 2nd wildcard to 2 games into championship w/o a loss. I still move up to diamond right? meh, team still needs work. |

Well, we might've got knocked out in the Divisional Series but we still got a couple prizes once the season finished up (congrats Jacksonville Beach Sea Birds, who went 11-2 in the postseason on the other side of the league). Aparicio took home a Great Glove, and Yogi Berra was not only awarded a Great Bat, he also won the MVP.

The one time it counts, a James Paxton card holds up…
… lost in Game 7 without getting the sticks up much at all, 6-2.

I am pleased to announce that the Yaks just won their second consecutive Perfect League Title. As I embarrassingly strut like a peacock, I would like to thank the Base Stealers for an exciting, hard fought World Series. <tips cap> Both teams proved that we belong here. Good luck in your future league. Both teams deserved to win.

Well, after being knocked out of the playoffs it was nice to wake up this morning and see that I had gotten points for
Pitcher of the Year - Bob Ojeda Great Bat - Kevin McReynolds as Right Fielder Great Glove - Kevin McReynolds as Right Fielder Great Glove - Ichiro Suzuki as Left Fielder Great Glove - Luis Aparicio as Shortstop Season score of 890 That is a nice little bump. |

None of my teams made the playoffs this season but there were some awards
![]() Corsairs: Great Glove: Roy Campanella-C Platinum Stick: Campanella, Machado, Kiner Reavers: Great Glove: Mickey Rivers-LF Subway Rats: Great Glove: Ivan Rodriguez-C, Willie Wilson-LF, Ken Griffey-CF Had extreme luck with 3 packs picked up by the Corsairs! A perfect Tom Seaver and a live 96 Trevor Bauer. Both go into the rotation for season 9. |

Congrats on the title. My Suns lost in the first round in your league, game 4 was a 20 inning game that ended with Mark Belanger on the mound for me lol. Gotta say I was rooting against you just so i can say I lost to the champs. Good luck in Perfect.

Hey, Kushiel, looks like we’re in the same league again. When did you change your team name?

Thanks! I have a soft spot for Belanger as he was my SS for a couple seasons back in Silver and Gold. Its great winning a WS title, but a bit humbling entering Perfect League. It's like moving from the kiddie table to the adult table at Thanksgiving...lol. |
