This would be a lot more fun
If we were in leagues with other forum members
I know some are and they seem to be enjoying the experience a lot more |

Seriously, just post on the forums and maybe someone from your league will see it. Alternately, join Discord. There's people on there as well. |

might have some lurkers who are in your league... post a screenshot of the standings or something and see if there are any bites...
i've had a couple or so from my leagues so far over the past 3 seasons... but even if there weren't any, I'd just be over in the dynasty thread talking to myself (I guess on the plus side, someone is reading along as there are 585 views so far... )

Thanks, your squad is pretty dynamite as well. I've had some strong luck with packs. I pulled a 1968 Yaz last Thursday, took him to the World Series (losing in 5 games), sold him for 70k (net after auction tax), and with part of the proceeds pulled an even better Peak Yaz. Still trying to decide if I should keep him or flip him. No auction history!

Maybe it's me, but at times Discord feels a bit like the wild west. Not sure why there is some of the things that get posted there. For example, if someone wants to put (or think of putting) a player up for auction, why are they asking others on Discord if they are interested and then taking it to some kind of private conversation. I would think the one owner would want to get as much for his player as he can and the other spend as little as he can, so I still haven't figured out the advantage of coming to an agreement (if that's what they are doing) regarding a player going up for auction?

Sometimes I'd like to know that I can get at least a min value for a guy. It can be a bit of a wildcard sometimes when to put a guy up, and for how much. Knowing someone will pay 20k might be better than listing him for 25 and not getting any bites.

besides, even if two players privately arrange a cheap deal for specific cards, there's no guarantee it will work out.... someone else might see the BIN price first and grab it... (assuming the arrangement was for an under-the-going-rate deal, and not a price-gouger deal) |

true, but still it's not 100% guaranteed... slow internet response for the buyer or someone else just happened to click 'refresh' on their AH at the split second the offer was placed and saw it first...

I just think there should be wide open wheeling and dealing or no wheeling and dealing. I am not a fan of gray areas where almost the same thing is OK in one hand and not the other.

Yep it is about the same chance as I have to win each different lottery in Texas on all 6(I think it is) consecutive drawing nights.

![]() The sad thing to me is the number of people that have searched so hard to either scam the system or get an edge outside the realms of what was intended. It reminds me of a very early card game league I hosted where I made some simple rules and was astonished at how many people tried to find the grey areas between the rules. I pleaded with the group that rules were meant to be followed in spirit, not as a guideline to find the loopholes. Otherwise you end up with more rules than the real MLB. |
