Currently trailing 0-2 in the LCS against a team 20 games below me in the standings.

Rich Hill, who was pretty rock solid for me this year, has been godawful in the playoffs.

He does have a good arm. I was just afraid to put him out there with his range and error ratings and my own bias for defense Good luck! I hope he plays well for you.

down 0-3 in the LCS to the behemoth team of the NC.... barring a minor miracle, the season will be over soon for my boys... but can't complain, they made the most of the hand they were dealt and got further than I thought.

looking forward to next season

edit: a win! Now down 3-1.... take it one game at a time boys

edit part 2: another win!! Now down 3-2....

not my team's series, but in the AC.... here's a little inspiration for everyone who laments about the whales and how much money they spend to build juggernaut teams.

the super stacked Aliquippa Quips (8 gold/2 perfect/15 diamond; 125-37) were just swept by the lowly St Louis Monarchs (1 diamond/12 gold/11 silver/1 bronze; 84-78) in the AC LCS 4-0

wish my 81-81 boys played better... would have been a fun world series to have the two worst records in each league make it

The Thorpe Springs Horned Frogs are off to the WS after knocking out the Catalina Island Bisons 4 games to 1

You dealt me misery during the season beating me out by 1 game. Good luck in the Silver League, Bisons

41 win less but get the 4-0... That's shocking...

Part of the beauty of baseball is that anything can happen in a short series.

Decided to avoid starting Hill in a do-or-die Game 6, and went with Samardzija on 4 days' rest instead. It uh, backfired.

On to next year!

Thanks! I thought that about the Aqua Sox as well, and the cheering on worked for the first three games of the series against the Sluggers, then the servers remembered I'm a Mets fan and treated me as such.

(Also, I had set a three man rotation and didn't make it back in time to change it, which probably didn't help things).

The best team beat a 120 win team in 5 games in the conference finals and then swept a 109 win team in the WS. I feel ok that my little 87 win team took them to the brink.

But not looking forward to promotion and the monster teams in that league.

The Aliquippa Quips are my team. I'm not too shocked I lost (there were a few teams throughout the year who gave me a lot of trouble). It just goes to show you that you shouldn't quit even when you go up a really good team. Anything can happen.

Onto season 2!

That remember me the fall of the Yankees vs the Sox in 2004, thats hurt a litlle for you, but pretty sure you will have your trophy in the next seasons!

good luck in the future and that was a fun season and series to watch!

11-1 in the playoffs for my only playoff team. My starting pitching staff is pretty elite at this point. I need to upgrade a few bullpen spots and some position players next season to stay competitive. EDIT: Also, bye bye Lorenzo Cain. You were severely outplayed by WS MVP Jean Segura. He was a terrible Gold when I had him in Beta, and he's still garbage. Already on the block.

And you beat Lukas in the finals, congrats! He fields a tough team, and kicked my ass up and down several leagues during the beta.

My road to a championship with my main team lead through three teams that all had a Live Trout card and mostly perfect/diamond rotations, but their high-octane offense proved too inconsistent to prevail over my strategy of rock-solid defense, pitching to weak contact, and getting juuuuuust enough smallball offense

My secondary team didn't even do well enough to get promoted though. Solid defense and decent pitching, but the bats were nowhere to be found. That one will take some re-configuring...

Exited for next season!

Cool! I was cheering him on in his comeback from 3-2 in the LCS against a team that is nearly Gold+ only. Unfortunately he didn't stand much of a chance against my Hops when his whole team combined to hit below the Mendoza Line.
