It has been stated a hundred times already that this will not happen.

Thank you for your response. I really enjoy playing the game and have been a loyal OOTP customer for 10 years. Didn't really appreciate the response I got from Westheim...some of us have a life and don't continually monitor this board.

Oh I see, you have a life. That changes everything. See, very recently, they introduced this thing called a "search function" where one can check on whether things have already been discussed a hundred times. But I am very understanding that you missed it, because you of course have a life (I obviously don't) and couldn't have noticed…….

Player packs sub-categories.
I am thinking that there should be sub categories when choosing packs whether it be the 1,000 point or 5,000 point packs. It seems that a very high percentage of players in the packs are starting & relief pitchers. If some one is looking for and out fielder or infielder, say a short stop or center fielder, he/she has to open a lot of packs to find those positions. I think there should be a sub category for each pack to choose from, only 3. Pitchers, infielders and outfielders.

Mobile App for iOS/Andriod for team mgmnt
I would be cool if we could have a mobile app to allow us to manage rosters or purchase packs, etc. 8 hours away is a lot while we work

Markus, you really need to set up the Universe into two divisions. Division A for guys who are going to spend money to build the best team that money can buy, and Division B for guys who want to build the best team that their SKILL and LUCK can buy. We compete within the structure we want, and if a guy plays Division B and starts buying talent, the system will send him to Division A. Allow both worlds to exist and compete for rewards, but let some of us compete against guys who do not want to spend tons of cash. (just watch the Snaggle J intro and both your developers send the message out to viewers that you gotta spend money to play).

What about the people who bought points during the beta testing in order to test the process and may have bought some after it went public to test the system but no long buy points? |

Suggest a notes area that is shown on your PT home page/main screen when you login. It would be nice to be prompted with reminders for certain things that you want to try and remember but forgot to note down before you turned PT for a few hours/days

Sorry if this has been posted before, but what about adding a "Google Alert" type of function for the AH?
For example, I would love to be notified when a Robb Nen card is on sale. |

Purpose of Entry Pool???????????????
why are these teams still in my league?
they obviously paid to play. and the rosters they have now are virtually the same rosters they had when the entry pool league started. no s*h*i*t, before the first game why am i, or anyone for that matter, in a league with this horses*h*i*t? what is the purpose of the entry pool league????????? i understand the promotion/relegation concept. its great. i understand the whole pay to play concept. its terrible. this is not a clever way to get customers to spend $ so they can compete with these idiots spending $ pretty simple solution. separate those who pay to play and those who do not. stick them all in the same league ffs. its not rocket science. good luck. |

I can see the logic of not sorting the players who want to buy wins from those who want to earn them on a level playing field. It would be terribly cumbersome to implement. But here's a solution that wouldn't be so hard. Simply put into a manager's profile how many points they bought. That way, if you get beaten by someone who bought a lot of points, it won't feel so sour. And if on the other hand you beat them, it will feel more and more good in proportion to how many points they bought.
One could go further and devise new stats, such as 'Wins per Point'. You could then do the promotion/relegation not on the basis of raw wins, but on the basis of this normalized stat instead. That way, players could buy their wins if they want to, but their wins wouldn't be worth as much. If you buy enough points, you might even "win" a championship and get relegated anyway. (I hope people can see that humor was intended here.) |
