Started the season out 14-7, came home from work to see a Silver achievement! Oh, what incredible feat did someone accomplish?
"Break a 10-game losing streak" And below that, a bronze achievement for breaking a 6-game streak (I believe). Team must have gone something like 1-16 yesterday. First to worst in the division. Still having fun though! |

Much as in season 1, my pitching and defense lead the league in every meaningful category except k's (3rd). We have almost the highest number of DPs turned, which is very rare for a team with dominant pitching. Only the Stengel Yankees did it routinely.

His team is generally pretty much how I pictured a ballpark team to look like (which isn't the same as how you guys are picturing one). Inflexible and weak on the road. I have to say though, even though he's not the most optimized example of such a team, he's still right on my tail. So maybe I have been underestimating this strategy. I'll need to play around with my ballpark during the "real" game. |

I was going to go the other way, maximizing pitching. Partly because I just plain like pitching, partly because it would earn more pp than being neutral, partly because this would allow me to have a small bullpen and give me more flexibility in my lineup. |

I've seen other people commenting about the rotation. Mine is working as it should be, but your situation is bizarre and without injuries there's no explanation for it. That's gotta be frustrating when the playoffs roll around especially.
Let's say that there's 5 games all in a row with no break. Would it be possible in this game for a guy to throw a ton of pitches then still have some fatigue when it is his turn again? Is there anything odd about your #3 guy? I won't insult your intelligence by asking if you have SP pitching in relief or if there's something switched to 'AI control' in your settings. Those are the only other things I can think of. I'm using 'highest rested'. Are you using 'strict'? Maybe there's a bug there. |

After raiding the AH instead of getting zero out of my packs my team is clicking on all cylinders ...
Okay, getting Gerrit Cole in my latest gold pack didn't hurt ![]() 38-24 and leading the Sigma Theta C East

2nd season in a row where we've played .500 ball April - June. Currently at 42-40, but I don't see us having another 54-27 run in the 2nd half. At least I finally got someone in the #5 spot that isn't sporting a 9.0+ era, like the first two guys I tried this year.

Good news, I'm 46-36 and happy with most parts of the team. Bad news, I'm 14.5 games behind a super stacked team owned by this Lukas Berger dude, and 7.5 games behind in the Wild Card race. Guess for playoff purposes, this season may be a writeoff.
Edit: On the plus side, I won 86 Matt Carpenter on bid. |

History
[QUOTE=Leo_The_Lip;4394516]I still do not know if I won the league or not, however I am off to dominant start with the exact team as last season (I have only pulled dross so far).
In the customize team design section there is a history tab. Lets you know how you finished the season. No box score, but at least you will know if you won or not. |
