Scoresheet generation?

How about the option to generate an official scoresheet? It would be a really great way to capture any game or choose, and of course print them out.

out of curiousity. What exactly were you looking for in the scoresheet you were thinking of ???? Point is what is different that you was looking for ??

I was thinking about a scorecard version like the one you would fill out in the program at game. That’s what I meant

I only own one other baseball game Actionpc. Action offers both a box score and a score sheet. The score sheet is different than the box score in that it shows an inning by inning recap of the game, at bat by at bat. It's easy to look at and see what each hitter did during the game. Looks just as if you scored the game as it was played.

yeah I gotcha you didn't want the play by play option you can click on that would give you pitch by pitch per at bat and such. I used to keep score at ball games all the time as well as we all have different styles in keeping score as there really isn't only one way in doing that.

iScore is a great scoring app that generates scorecards. I could see OOTP doing something like that.

iScore is great, and I have scored more than a couple of OOTP games with it. Silvam's suggestion for an automated in-game version has definite merit! Although, I suppose it is a bit weird to be able to automatically generate something that a fan is supposed to do on his or her own, by meticulous labor.

Still, I would totally use it if it existed!

iScore is great. I actually have it on my iPad and use it to score real games I either watch on TV or go to. I've always been a big fan of scoring games.

After the game, the scorecard just tells the story of the game so well.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear of OOTP user printing out the scorecard of a big game and framing it for the wall of their home office or game room.

I think these are great - my only problem is I have no idea how to fill one out or read it - so there'd have to be some kind of entry in the manual explaining everything for "Dummies" like me

Yes, but a scoresheet is so much easier to follow. I've never been a fan of game logs.

I agree, don’t like the game logs but a scoresheet would be very nice.
I feel bad for Markus, he puts out the best game ever, continually makes major changes to improve the game, and we still want more. I guess we’ve been spoiled.

I researched dozens of others and finally came up with what I felt was, for me at least, the perfect scorecard.

I did this with all 4 games the Astros won in the WS and when I told my wife she looked at me like I was speaking Swahili.

+1. Game logs have all the detail all I could want, but scorecards are much easier for me to read. I can get a much quicker sense of what happened in game or to a player off a scorecard. Scorecards tell a me a story that sometimes gets lost in the detail of a gamelog.

i would consider it. i'm already considering printing out baseball cards of my favorite players.
