IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

A couple of hints have been added to two of the unanswered questions

Strong was 38 and came along later than the debut 1993 season but it is a great guess!

#8 is really bothering me. I used to be a Marlins fan when I actually watched baseball. I know who the other person is but I just can't remember....

Wow, where do you come up with these questions LL? I looked all night and could not find anything. I need to learn how to research better.

I wondered when you would make an appearance here Nice of you to sit and wait for the easy ones to be answered then come in and grab the toughest. I respect that.

skipaway cleaned up the last two.

jax, I am a baseball trivia fool. I retain a lot of useless baseball knowledge and I am always on the lookout for good trivia questions. I use a variety of sources and always attempt to find backup (unless Dodger announcer Ross Porter gave me the question - his word is gold!).
