There is a setting, I think in General Settings to save injury and transaction logs.

FWIW I'm playing a fictional league with realistic injuries and my SP has been decimated this year. Only one guy at 30+ starts, one guy at 20+ and then a bunch of randoms. At one point I was fishing down into my 10th or 11th SP from my preseason depth chart.

I did notice that some teams did have 3-4 injured pitchers at a time, but other times had 10 injuries and only 1 pitcher.

I'm going to setup a fictional league tonight and see if the numbers are different.

I created a fictional universe mimicking the major leagues with all minors. I simmed the first season and the injuries were completely different than my historical league.

Similar number of players on DL after the season (147), but 75 were pitchers. When searching the injury log, nearly 2x as many injuries happened while pitching and 50% fewer while base running. Total injuries incidents were about 25% lower.

This might explain we different users see different results.

We looked at this a bit further and it turns out that there was indeed a bug (typo) that caused the wrong distribution of lengths of the pitcher injuries.

Markus also tweaked the overall pitcher injury frequencies a bit. So hopefully this should look better next patch!

It looks a little better with the new patch. I took the same league i tested before and did another season to end of the year. I had 180 player injuries and 66 were pitchers.

I wonder if since there weren't many pitcher injuries in the prior years there were less "fragile" pitchers resulting in fewer injuries relative to hitters.

That not great but it is better. You might be right about the injury ratings, that's a reasonable hypothesis.
