Yeah me too, also something to distinguish the batting champion. Had a player on my team win it 3 years in a row, but the only way I can tell is by remembering it. At least put it in the player history

Triple Crowns are recorded in the league history, so it's not as if they go without notice completely.

I'd like this for the batting champion too. Or at least for the game to keep a year-by-year list of batting champions (and maybe other stats, like wins and steals) as well.

How does OOTP know about the real world?

Donaldson currently on DL in real life due to injured calf.

In my game, now this:

Poor Evan

I signed him for minor league filler. Should I cut him the very next day to keep the major psychological torture going?

Oh, but I beg to differ.

So, not only did our friend and catcher Stuart Turner get spanked while pitching despite being a position player, he got his own news item about his bad control...

He was traded for Wellington Castillo, who didn't have the same good fortune:

Does it really count as a no hitter if the game was called because of rain? Also, this is the first no hitter I believe I've had on any of my teams from 17 to 18 and it wasn't even really a legit no-no!

I *believe* that MLB redefined an official no-hitter as needing to last the full 9 innings about 15 years ago or so. If memory serves, this invalidates, too, the flavor of no-no wherein a pitcher pitching on the road doesn't give up any hits over 8 innings but gives up (probably) unearned runs and loses the game before he has a chance to pitch in the 9th. It's really, really rare, but it did actually happen once:

It is early September. We are in first place. And Jose Reyes thinks its time to drive his ATV. Not sure where he is doing this in Queens, maybe he took a summer splurge to the Hamptons..
