Player whose career was ended by an injury is still on my roster
This player was on my roster last season but was injured and placed on the 60-day disabled list. During the offseason, I got an email stating that he would not recover from the injury and would end his career as a result of it. However, the player is still on my roster and taking up a huge portion of the teams budget.

First up, noooooooo not King Felix! With that out of the way... in real life, if a player has a career ending injury you're still on the hook for 100% of their salary, including all remaining seasons. The AI will cut a guy the day after the diagnosis, which I think is a bit too mercenary (usually I do that at the end of the season), but regardless of when you do it, you're going to be paying for that salary anyway so it's a little cosmetic at that point.
