Round Robin does not work properly

Round robin should give options for 1,2 or 3 games per round robin opponent. It only does one game in the 1st series and then goes back to a regular playoff series rather than a second round robin.

I like the option, but it needs updated.

Double elimination not fully functioning correctly as well. Double eliminations stop in early rounds. No 2nd chances in Final 8 teams.

Here is the screen shot of the Round Robin that needs worked on. Round Robin should continue to the Final Four (2 in each league), then become a series. Also, 2 games against opponents (6 games) should be an option for the Round Robin Rounds not just one (3 games).

Love the feature, please update!

I posted in the other thread about this. We can update some options, but the round-robin is not intended to last beyond the first round.

Sorry, but if you are not intending to set it up correctly it probably should have not been put into the game!

Well, it works well for the smaller WBC-style tournaments, so I think it's still better to have than not.

As I said, we may look to expand how it works, or add new options in the future, but we wanted to focus first on using formats that are currently in-use before looking at other potential solutions. That's also a large reason why the double-elimination is a little weird - that actually matches (sort of) the format that the WBC used prior to this year. I know there's been a lot of people who want a true double-elimination format, and we'll definitely look into doing that at some point down the line.

I understand. This always happens. Other users get a say and my ideas are forever on the fence. This is why I wanted to beta test.

Have faith. I was disappointed at first as well, but if Matt says he'll try to do something, I've learned to trust that he will.

And I don't recall any user asking for these hybrid formats. I think the team was just so focused on adding the WBC to the game that they figured one step at a time.

I think that it would be best, however, to rename these formats "RR/SE hybrid" and "DE/SE hybrid" to lessen the confusion users might have. I know I thought the MDE was buggy when I first tried it.
