Can't be anything curious on this one, Pad'. If you elect zero, why have a Reserve Roster? Educate me?

That's exactly the idea: To have no reserve roster. Right now you either need a MiLB team or a reserve roster of 15. There's no way to disable it or drop it to something like scratches in hockey.

I like having a reserve list and a minor league team.
I manually make transactions between the parent team and minor league team. Only if someone is having an outstanding season in the minors do I recall him. |

A workaround (which is pretty much a textbook workaround) is to set a minor league level, with an impossibly high or low age limit to insure no players actually go there. Of course there is some sometimes screwy behavior, like prospects being released, that could easily make this workaround unusable but maybe it would work with your league setup.

I get the feeling that the main issue with this would be getting the AI to behave correctly.

But maybe in an online league this would be a challenging option.

The search function doesn't let you search for two letter strings, but I do post it quite often.

100% agree, would love not to have a reserve roster. If a guy gets hurt you can put him on DL and add a free agent that day.

You really want decisions? Imagine if there was also no DL. Now you've got to decide whether to go into games a player down because you want to keep that injured player on your roster, or let that unable-to-play player go and sign somebody else. (E.g. the major leagues before a DL was implemented in 1941.)
