So Many Starting Pitchers With 100 Stuff in Future

Yeah, obviously guys with a 30 or 37 overall rating won't have 100 for stuff. I'm guessing that there's something in your league causing some league averages to get screwed up.

As mentioned, if the "recalc all ratings" doesn't help, then you can check in the editor to see what some of those guys' stuff rating is under the covers to make sure their (raw) ratings are reasonable. Also feel free to play around with the global settings to see if you can kickstart stuff around.

Otherwise, you can always send over your files (How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Powered by Kayako Help Desk Software), and we can see if there's a way to fix things under the covers.

That's not true, guys with 30 overalls can have 100 stuff. It just usually means their movement/control is awful.

True, but the guys above all have average movement/control as well. You don't get a guy at 100/50/50 still be a 30 overall.

On the link he sent there is a guy who is 100-47-51 and 37 overall. Another guy is 100-54-57 and 70 overall rating. Another is 100-52-53 and a 69 overall. So it would seem that's not true, and you can in fact get 100/50/50 and be far higher than 30 overall.

that's the point. try to recreate that in your league. maybe with some whacky AI eval ratio? but even then, i doubt it.

Looked in editor and these guys have ridiculous ratings like 230 and above lol Not sure what to do at this point I don't want to waste my time on my actual league if this is just whats going to happen in the future. Ill try sending u guys this league to see if u can fix stuff under the hood. All player creation modifiers are defualt btw... I sent my league to the ftp thing Matt.

My point is regardless of the settings issue, the game has trouble differentiating talent and generally overvalues specific ratings (stuff, for instance). I can't help him with his league, but I can point out that regardless of league or settings, overalls are poor at evaluating talent.
