Oregon Classic (10 open teams)

Hey guys, me again.

Looking to start up a new fictional based league, with 12 teams.

Here are some of the basics-

- Site - Http://realbeisbol.com/oc.html
- Owning the game is not a requirement, but it is highly reccomended
- 12 team fictional league
- League will start with Fantasy Draft
- Based on cities/towns in Oregon
- All fictional players, a few edited by me
- Coaches/Scouts Disabled
- Injuries on low
- Minors simulated
- Traditional Ratings
- $60,000 Team Cash Maximum
- $87,000,000 Salary Cap
- 90 game schedule
- 1 Round, Best of 7 playoff/championship series.
- 5 Amatuer Draft Rounds (Held in Pre-season)
- Relocation will not be allowed
- DH in both leagues

Anything else I'm missing or you're wondering about let me know.

But there are currently 9 teams open, but I will take the last available. And we will go by a random draft order.

McMinnville
Newport
Ashland
Grants Pass
Lakeview
Medford
Roseburg

if you guys follow the board this is willis's 7th or 8th league to start up and none have made it anywhere---- dont waste your time--- if this league makes it a year it'll be a record

acutally if no one listens to me, why isnt your league full, or why did it take so long for your last league to get full--- just to crumble back to the ground----

again im not trying to be rude, but its frusterating to be a part of a league just for the commish to shut it down, not once or twice, but numerous numerous times--- and i'll make sure that other quality owners dont waste their time with what could be another 4 month league

Dude, I've had one league crumble.. because two gm's were cheating, and I let two bad gm's as co-commishes on accident. That won't happen again. I've heard from every GM but you that I was a great GM and to start it back up again.

And the reason my league is not full, is because... well lets see I just started yesterday trying to get gms?

you are a very good GM--- but your not a good commish--- ive been in 4 of your league and none have made it past the first year or to the end of the first year

first league--- restarted after the first 15 games

second league--- got to about 55 games and then you folded shop

third league--- got to the all-star break

fourth league--- you got everyone in, started to draft and then decided you didnt want to do it

there is a big difference b/t a good commish and a good GM, you havent taken responsiblity for anything, your blaming it on everyone else.....and this league will fold shop just like the other 4 i was in....mark it down....if it gets to the end of year one its a mircale

I have taken responsibility for hiring dumb co-commishes. But the league re-started twice. Not four times. Count it, one two. Its not that hard.

And the first time the league folded, we had a cheater who stacked his team and no one wanted to continue. And it was a LEAGUE CHOICE to restart. And because this is probably the gm "ellenalicia" who fought with everyone, you were never there to make choices as a gm, because you were always around fighting with gm's and not paying attention.

Give it up, this league will survive, and you need to get a life.

lol, willis, your league will fold, youve probably just pissed someone else off by calling them out, i was one of the better owners in your leagues man, and im still in one of the other leagues that you are in

thegambler11, I think you need to keep your yap shut. BigWillis has a better rep here than you. Hell, we in the UBL voted him in over a couple of other good candidates. Who are you, who knows you? Likely nobody. If BigWillis says he had 1 league that had problems and folded, then I believe him and I think most others here would too. The vast majority of commissioners, even the best commissioners, have had at least 1 league fold. And since it sounds like he's learnt from his mistakes I'd say he's likely to do a much better job his second time around. So give the guy a second chance and see what he does with it.

I can't vouch for some of the things that the Gambler is speaking about, but I can say that in Big Willis's last league, I was fired as an owner because of inactivity after the first two weeks. The thing to understand is that I had made several trades and been online during the day about 4 out of 7 days. The cocommish who asked to have me fired wanted me to trade him a certain player and I wouldn't so he told the commish that I was not active and should be fired. After all of this came to light all he could do was tell me that he was sorry and to reapply for another team. I had made two trades that day as I was never notified that I was fired. I had several GM's vouch for me, but it was to no avail. Then two days later the league folded. I would just be very careful with joining a league of his. He may have learned his lesson or you could waste a lot of your time as I did.
