Nothing which is specifically for online leagues only. We'll redesign that whole part of the game for a later version, so we did not put much work in it this year. One thing is new, we store all text in a single mySQL database now, which is good to reduce upload times. Obviously, stuff like the game-generated recaps etc. are great for online leagues, too.

Markus,

Have managers (specifically historical tracking) been improved?

I'd like to be able to click on a team in my fictional league (random year) and see who the coaching staff was from that particular season.

Any chance this can be added?

As for recalc, it's the same as in OOTP 16, you can make everyone subject to recalc if you want or leave them up to the development engine, just as you prefer.
This is all optional? We can still use the current database without minor league players and guys importing the year they first played in the MLB?

It's on my list, but likely won't make it in for release.

Two questions...

1) Are there going to be historical uniforms, logos and caps already built in the game for all MLB and all MiLB?

2) Why wait till March 22? WE WANT IT NOW!!!

OMG... seriously? So they do move around the field making plays? I'm guessing the engine determines the outcome and then it's played out in 3D?

You lucky man....

1) No, only 2016 MLB & MILB logos & uniforms plus all historical MLB logos.

2) Because we want to ship it as good as possible

Yep, seriously!

They do move around, and yeah, the engine is still in control.

It's really great

This might be a dumb question.. but can you tell fielding ability from the movement? ie.. speedy outfielder vs a slow one? rocket arm vs a dead arm?

Super excited about the in-game symbols. We can finally "watch" games!

Are many of the new features added last year improved upon? Or are they the same as last year? Things like all-star voting, HOF etc..

Not saying they need a lot of work. Just wondering.

I want to tell you more and I typed something out, but I'm not sure OOTP would be okay with me spilling anymore than what's in the release so I'll just be quiet. But suffice to say, even at this early stage, they're a real treat.

The facegen for real players made me raise an eyebrow. It's awesome, but immediately made me think how much work it would have been to build them all. And I wonder... will they age?
