In-game ESPN type website

Not for historical mode obviously, but I was just thinking, wouldn't it be neat if OOTP had its own BNN website for league news/rumors/reports etc.. in our game universes? The website can have its own reporter (think Jon Morosi, Ken Rosenthal, Buster Olney) who reports on league happenings and possibly even has a twitter feed with regular updates.

I know we have a BNN reports section already, but I'm thinking it would look nice in a website format if possible with more of a focus on insiders and such.

Would something like this be too difficult to implement?

Any style but ESPN. One of the worst and clunky sites I've ever seen.

Was just using ESPN as an example, since pretty much everyone knows what ESPN is.

So I guess it would be like the ESPN MLB Gamecast?

I mentioned a very similar idea in the interface thread. Glad to see someone else likes it! I see it as a great way of making the league seem more alive and also an easier way to have the game push information to you. It can act as a hub for the league and I see the tweets as replacing email notifications for league news. I hope they do something like this.

MLB Network style? Transactions News in Main News for seasons past 2015 for your team? Also saying these guys have accepted a QO?

I think this would be hard to get right, but I agree there needs to be a less clunky way (read: not HTML) to get information from the game somehow. It's really difficult right now and overwhelming at best. Lots of third party tools have been created in the past at this effort, seems like linking together with those folks to come up with something that works better would be awesome.

Surely for online leagues, but also for solo folks with long-running leagues.
