The crossing my fingers didn't work. Still getting the white screen of death. Only way around it is to kill the task in task manager. How do you fix this?

I am using the latest patch, and did read that these affiliates would only join their teams in a new game.
What I am not understanding is why these non-affiliated teams are signing MLB free agents in that instance. I don't want to have to go through releasing players every season. |

I had an expansion team come into my league and for some reason it added history all the way back to 1871 despite not being around. It has not done this for any other teams besides the two that just were added.

I've spent a good forty five minutes looking for "league setup". Is it under MLB/league settings? Is it under game/game settings? There's kind of a lot of options to click on, lol. I wish it was just as easy as going into league setup. But I can't find it anywhere. Do you have to be in the offseason to find it?

Box Scores in Team Schedule
When a rainout occurs and the next day a doubleheader is played and I click on the boxscores in the team schedule,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,both games result in the same box score. I can not access the other game for that same date's box score. Also, when using 7 day lineups and a double header is scheduled after the rainout the pitching rotation goes awry. Is there a fix to this....a known bug ?

Can anyone please assist me where to go/whats steps to follow to get into league setup and set up Boston DSL2 and Seattle DSL2 to be affiliated with their parent teams?

Go to League Setup (on the right hand navbar), then navigate to the DSL and you'll see "League & Teams". Click on that, then scroll to Boston 2 and Seattle 2 and set their affiliations to their respective franchises.

Wild Card in Team Page standings
In the "Standings" page, the first wild card position is noted as being "+X" number of games over the second wild card position, but on the team page, the small widget window notes the first wild card position as being "-X" number of games, as seen below.

When I go to create a fictional player and set the age to "average" or even "old" the players generated still end up around 23 years old.

I have a game I just started that's crashing when trying to go from 4/9/2015 to 4/10/2015. I think it's because the 4 minor leagues think they're in the offseason while their opening days are tomorrow. Perhaps the game is crashing because it doesn't like Preseason being skipped.
Any way to fix this? |

Sudden player retirement?
I just had my starting second baseman and leadoff hitter retire after Game 1 of the World Series.
Who the heck does he think he is, Dick Allen? |

Not a massive bug, but it appears that in the expanded standings that the Pre AS/Post AS isn't working properly, Pre AS isn't stopping till after the All-Star game.
Day of AS Game: http://i.imgur.com/a4JpJjD.jpg 9 days after AS Game: http://i.imgur.com/ou3TW7k.jpg Angels Schedule: http://i.imgur.com/B0FHGZs.jpg Just using the Angels as an example but all teams have played 8 games since the AS game, however their post AS record is shown as 1-4 instead of 3-5. EDIT: I believe I've found the problem after doing some testing with a new save in 2015, it appears the standings are only ticking over to the Post AS record on July 22nd, so I guess the standings are assuming that the AS game is around July 20 instead of July 14. EDIT2: Only workaround I'm seeing right now is to delete the major_league_ml_c_2015 in the schedules folder (not sure if this is safe or not?) and then generating a fictional schedule so then the schedule can actually put the AS game on a day of your choosing. As if you base your save off a real life schedule it appears even if I change the day I want the AS game held, when you regenerate a fictional schedule based on this it gets swapped back to July 14 and if you keep using major_league_ml_c_2015 and manually set AS game to be held on July 20 or something the schedule doesn't update that and you end up with MLB games on at same time as ASG. EDIT3: Just tested it with the above settings and managed to get AS game scheduled on July 21, games started again on July 24 and forward to end of July 26, all teams have played 3 games since the AS Game and it's being correctly recorded in the Post AS column that they've got a record based on those 3 games since the AS game on the expanded standings. EDIT4: Just tested with the 'automatically schedule AS game' ticked and after deleting the major_league_ml_c_2015 out of schedules folder on my PC, it's generated a new MLB schedule which has automatically put the AS game on July 21st . So I'm pretty confident in saying that the Pre/Post AS on expanded standings isn't changing over till July 20/21 for some reason (don't know if that's intended or not) and doesn't tick over earlier even if you have a ASG scheduled before that date (like if you're using the real life MLB etc schedules). But it seems if you don't use the major_league_ml_c_2015 etc schedules then it will schedule the ASG to the date that it ticks over on the expanded standings. *All from a MLB standpoint of course. A player that has not played a game this season made the all-star team while injured for some reason.

Opening Day (before any games) = 1 day of service?
This may or may not technically be a "bug"...
This may very well have been mentioned before... When Opening Day arrives a player is given 1 day of service time. On the surface that sounds logical, but is there a chance that day could be counted at the END of Opening Day instead of apparently at the BEGINNING of Opening Day? In either a solo game or online game, the natural inclination is to "Sim til Opening Day", in fact it's a choice in the menu. Doing that tacks on a service day and, in the case of a raw rookie, starts the clock on their service time (as seen in the screen shot). In many cases the tendency, certainly online, is to stop the day before, demote players and set your 25-Man roster, to save that one day. Not a huge deal, but just a delay of one online sim day that could be more productive. Does this truly matter? Is it indeed a simple tweak for the future to count a "day" at the END of a day? Not a game-breaker, just a suggestion. |
