Mount Rushmore for each of the 30 MLB franchises

It's hard for the A's to get 4 good ones even though they've been around for a long time and have a good amount of championships. Every one of their dominant players over the years have been traded away. In one case (Rickey), he was traded away twice.

I went with these four (in part) because they were the key members of each Athletics' Dynasties over the years.

NY Yankees: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio

Can't really argue with this. They've had tons of iconic players, but none truly personify the Yankees as much as these 4. Some honorable mentions:

Reggie Jackson
Derek Jeter
Mariano Rivera
Yogi Berra
Roger Maris (only because he held the HR record for so long)
Phil Rizzuto (more for personality and broadcasting than his playing time)

As big a fan as I am of Trammell (and Sweet Lou); I'd have to insert Gehringer or even Cochran ahead of either.
