Question League Officials (League Presidents, etc)

I've noticed some online leagues have extra league officials (league presidents, deputy commish, etc). If you have any of these in your league, please tell me the league's name and the officials': titles, duties, whether they're elected or appointed, have terms or are for life, or anything else you can think of. Hell, if you do or don't have any in your league, but think you have some good ideas about them, please let me know those ideas as well. Thanks.

In a league I am in.. theres a AL President and an NL President. I am the AL President, but I still am yet to know what my duties are. The league is "All Baseball All the Time" and can be found at http://allbaseball.staghost.com

The MBBA has 2 league presidents. You can see more specifically their roles in the Constitiution, but they are essentially representatives for that league on all Governing issues. They also facilitate the mandtary voting we do for All-Star players, end of the year Awards, etc. Poll voting on the board sucks and never gets everyones vote. Our system has worked real well so far. I typically keep a President in office for 3 seasons. Then I accept applications for replacements, but I make the ultimate decision. Our presidents are expected to be some of the most active owners in the league.

Baseball Maelstrom has 2 co-commissioners. One handles American League decisions, the other (me) handles National League decisions. These decisions involve replacement of owners primarily.

In addition, we have 3 League Assistants. The assistants are used to bounce ideas off of, provide advice and input, perform minor duties for the league if necessary, and for voting on items that need it.

Pioneers of the Diamond has 2 League Presidents as well. They provide their respective leagues with another avenue of assistance and therefore must be OOTP savvy.

They also run various aspects of the league such as uploading the site info. In the Commisioners absence they would be responsible for running the sim and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible

I appointed them for the inaugural season and they are currently serving a 2nd term.

The USBA has no official titles other than Dictator...errr, Commissioner. Still, everyone has a say in any big changes and many of the team owners have helped out with many endeavors such as adding Wallmans and Cato, designing logos and banners, writing columns and helping with the All Star game voting. There is no title to these responsibilities, only my undying gratitude and love from the league!

BABBL has an assistant commish, two league presidents and two division heads, that, when added to the commish, simply provide a "rules committee" that has jurisdiction over trade disputes, and discusses rules ammendments etc.

We're in our first season, so at the moment it's really a talk shop, getting stuff fine tuned.

They are there to lend me support, and make sure the league runs as smoothly as possible.

Come referendums etc, they will be involved in getting people to vote.
