Three other questions about OOTP 16

1) Is the impact of player personalities going to be made more clear? The manual offers only the vaguest of hints. I don't want "very high leadership = 5% bonus to player development!" but I'd like a little more detail on what precisely it's meant to do.

2) There's a bug in my present online league that you may or may not be aware of. Since my league doesn't use 40 man rosters, when we do the draft, it's been adding players with signing bonuses directly to the major league team, thus giving them service time (if I don't catch it), instead of the minor league team. Is this fixed?

3) With the re-working to contracts, have you done anything with draft day signing bonuses and/or international amateur free agency?

Would suggest to try to figure it out on your own of which makes for a bit of an adventure plus personality can be built through college and minor league as the team would understand it by then and if minor league trades we wouldn't know there personalities but only by reputation

The question that comes to my mind in this discussion is how do you answer these questions if you are a real life GM with any certainty?

IRL I suppose you hope the leader helps the team play better. Maybe a calming influence during a slump, hitting or pitching advice position dependent, peacemaker\cohesion in the clubhouse, etc. etc.

But in the end if the team plays better you will toot your horn about how smart it was to bring in Joe Veteran. But there will be no way to know for sure. Even other player's opinion will be colored by what the team did. "Boy we really started winning when Joe showed up". How do you know you wouldn't have won the same without him?(unless of course he's a stud too that can carry the team with his play)

Just my opinion but I think OOTP gets this right in leaving it very vague and for us to decide. The illusion of real life and real players is what makes the game fun. Reducing it to known numbers and possibilities takes away from that illusion.
