Nicknames or Not? - Page 2

I've never been a fan of nicknames. Therefore, I'd prefer if there is an option to turn them off.

It will. But only if you do it before creating a new league. (This is what I've been doing in my fictional leagues). But for quickstarts that have been created without deleting the names in the nicknames.txt - I don't if there's a way of deleting the nicknames of the players...

The only issue I have with nicknames, is that they're actual nicknames recycled. Right handers named "Lefty", "Georgia Peach" (a guy from the Dominican Republic), pitcher named "Hammerin' Hank"... just to name a few

The recycling of iconic nicknames ruins the immersion more than the silly nicknames for me.
