Ok, just an update of the order. Let me know if I missed anyone. I will likely be adding between 5-15 per season depending on how many rookies I need to fill out draft pool. 19421 draft list will be announced in the next day or two. However, be aware some of you may have your careers delayed by military service.
Still room for others who want to get in line for future drafts. If so just post your info below. Thanks Douglas Vogt 3B Okauchee, Wisc Paul Yuan RF Vancouver BC David Gonzalez RHP Freemont Cal Paul Dale P Kokomo, Ind Maxton May P Vancouver BC Gardis Pitts C Floyd County Kent Aaron Nation 3B Papillion Neb Leo Emig Jr. CF Philadelphia Pa Leonard Piro P Brooklyn NY William Langford no pos specified Houston Tx Apr 1, 1929 will hold him until 1947 draft. Joe 'Guiseppe' Salvia SP Bensonhurst NY Jukka Juntilla 2B Helsinki Finland Louis Rebots C Brooklyn NY Raymond George Orr 2B Muscatine Iowa Eric 'Q' Jaffe 2B Oak Park Illinois Dan "A-Ski" Andrykowski CF Arlington Heighs Illinois Al Vienna P Alexandria, Egypt Weldon Evans no position specified Springfield Oh born 1923 Poops Netsky RHP Salinas Cal Strachan Gordon OF The Falls NS Kenneth Whitt SS Sandy Hook, Kent. 8 new members for the 1942 draft class: Here are their pre-draft scouting reports.
Douglas Vogt 3B Okauchee, Wisc - Douglas has average tools at best. He wont be a star but should be a consistant 3B Paul Yuan RF Vancouver BC - a bluechip prospect with a very bright future as a RF David Gonzalez RHP Freemont Cal - David has all the makings of a solid big league pitcher. Paul Dale P Kokomo, Ind - If you need a consistant starter go with Paul Dale. Maxton May P Vancouver BC - not a bluechip prospect but he may surprise a few folks. Gardis Pitts C Floyd County Kent - not a lot of talent but just enough to warrant a look. Aaron Nation 3B Papillion Neb - Aaron has some skills but not enough at this point to make him a major leaguer. Leo Emig Jr. CF Philadelphia Pa - Should be a quality CF but hasnt been able to turn raw talent into polished skills. Great speed and decent defense but lacks power. Draft results coming up

Ravenscross, Tennessee Righthander, SP In reality, Pops was born 2-20-1910, so would be too old for mlb by the 40's (and was already a Navy NCO when WW2 broke out); a blown ligament ended his pitching career shortly after it started, back in some obscure Class D league in Alabama. It would be nice to give him a second chance. |

Paso Robles, CA I don't know what position my grandfather would have played (or did play). He was a large, tall man though, so I imagine him as a first baseman.

Here is an updated list. The next draft class will be the top 5-12 names on this list. Feel free to add more players for those of you who havent yet named a grandfather or other relative to the league. The names below will take me to about 1945 or 46 draft class. For those that werent following this completely. It will be a random generated rookie at the position you pick just to fill out my draft poll which is primarily composed of real historical rookies.
Leonard Piro P Brooklyn NY William Langford no pos specified Houston Tx Apr 1, 1929 will hold him until 1947 draft. Joe 'Guiseppe' Salvia SP Bensonhurst NY Jukka Juntilla 2B Helsinki Finland Louis Rebots C Brooklyn NY Raymond George Orr 2B Muscatine Iowa Eric 'Q' Jaffe 2B Oak Park Illinois Dan "A-Ski" Andrykowski CF Arlington Heighs Illinois Al Vienna P Alexandria, Egypt Weldon Evans no position specified Springfield Oh born 1923 Poops Netsky RHP Salinas Cal Strachan Gordon OF The Falls NS Kenneth Whitt SS Sandy Hook, Kent. Troy Brewster P Hanford Cal Timothy Shepard 1B/OF Gary Indiana right handed Brownie Smith 2B Hooks, Texas Murph McAteer SP Kearny, NJ Wes Corzine C Murphysboro, Illinois Jon Reed SS Bismarck ND Frank Maxwell Smith RHP Ravenscross, Tenn Brooks Faulker 1B Paso Robles, Cal Roger Maxwell Smith OF Bremerton, Wash hold until 1968

Here are the OOTP Board member named rookies for 1943.
Leonard Piro P Brooklyn NY Has above average stuff and will do a nice job in a big league rotation Joe 'Guiseppe' Salvia SP Bensonhurst NY - really a project player and needs more work to make majors Jukka Juntilla 2B Helsinki Finland - has some skills but not enough to make him into an outstanding 2B Louis Rebots C Brooklyn NY - one of those sleepers who could eventually work his way into starting lineup Raymond George Orr 2B Muscatine Iowa has average tools at best, not a star but should be consistant 2B Eric 'Q' Jaffe 2B Oak Park Illinois should be a consistant 2B...real burner and strong defensively. Dan "A-Ski" Andrykowski CF Arlington Heighs Illinois quality prospect with some potential Feel free to contine adding names to the list. 5-10 OOTP board named players will be added every year.

I'll put my grandfather's name in, though I have no idea what position he would've played. (don't think he ever played organized ball, kind of a "signed him out of the cornfield" deal I guess.)
