Rex Brothers, normally a rock, gave up three straight home runs, giving the Orioles the 11-8 win.

Pablo Sandoval went 4 for 5 while Brett Lawrie and George Springer went deep for the Jays.

WP - Fernando Salas (3-1)
Save - Mike Gonzalez (29)
LP - Rex Brothers (0-4)

Record - 67-58

Luckily Boston also lost so the lead is still one game.

How is that kind of winning percentage enough for first place in the AL East?

Dylan Bundy was too much for the Toronto batters as they fell to Baltimore 6-2.

WP - Dylan Bundy (9-8)

Boston won so that means the Red Sox and Blue Jays are now tied for the AL East lead.

Pablo Sandoval was named AL Player of the Week! He hit .560 with 6 RBI!

Cameron Maybin (Padres) won for the NL.

The Blue Jays slid all the way to #13 on the weekly power rankings.

The Dunedin Blue Jays were #1 for their rankings.

I know... it is weird. The division is very flat this season. Nobody is pulling far ahead and nobody is falling very far behind.

The slumping Jays lost again today, 2-1 to Arizona. They just can't get it together.

WP - Daniel Hudson (7-11)
LP - Carter Capps (3-1)

Record - 67-61

A Boston win has the Jays out by a game and a half.

Danny Salazar pitched a nie game against the Dodgers, but not as nice as Zach Greinke as L.A. beat Toronto 3-1. Robinson Cano got the only Jays run with a solo shot in the 9th.

Danny Salazar left the game while still pitching well with reports of a tired arm. Whether it costs him a start will remain to be seen.

WP - Zach Greinke (17-6)
Save - Joel Hanrahan (41)
LP - Danny Salazar (9-8)

Record - 68-62

The Jays are two games back of Boston for the AL East and one game up on Kansas City for Wild Card #2.

George Springer has a torn thumb ligament and will be out for 3-4 weeks.

He goes on the D.L.

Also, K.C. Hobson heads back to Buffalo. Jesus Montero and Moises Sierra come up.

Tyler Moore hit one out for Toronto.

WP - Colby Lewis (11-11)
