Unfortunately, yes. I'm in the process, but there's a lot of changes. The big changes is that all of the HTML reports have been redone in OOTP, and as you know, OU tries to use the same look-and-feel as OOTP for consistency. So I need to rework all of the pages in the new look.

There's also a few enhancements that Markus may do in the first or second patch that OU can take advantage of. If he does end up doing them, I'd wait to release OU until they are implemented so that we don't have version mismatch issues.

It'll all come in time. I'm assuming (banking on) most online leagues will wait a little bit before converting for OOTP to shake out some of the bugs.

Will do. I only used IE because it's all I'm given at work, at home I almost exclusively use Firefox and occaisionally Safari, because yeah, IE is a PoS.

I'm happy to offer any kind of beta-testing services as I have my own Linux server at home and have a little bit of Perl experience.

Also, could we add VORP and WAR to player stats on Awards and All-Star Voting?

Could there also be a way to "add" someone to the ballots?

There are a bunch of things like these that I wanted to do for the initial 13 release. I still hope to do them, just a matter of energy and motivation. My online league will be converting in about 2 weeks so that is the target date for the initial 13 version. It's looking good so far.

Do note that WAR is not exposed in the export files, and we're pushing Markus to get them included with some other stuff in the next patch. This is one of the "few enhancements" that I mentioned before that I wanted to wait on before releasing. We'll see if they get in.

That'll be tough. I've noticed some rare oddities with the ballots sometimes, so I plan on revisiting the code to see if I can figure out why on occasion some people are left off. Hopefully that will fix any issues with people being left off, and you won't need this functionality.

Getch, any idea on the error we get when trying to generate our Last Sim report:

"Error Occurred! Can't use string ("13") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at OOTPOU/LSAdmin.pm line 597.".

I looked at the file and that line says, " $game = ${@{$teams{$team}->{GAMES}}}[$gCount];"

My guess is it has to do with a server upgrade of some sort with it saying "strict refs". Any idea what we should try?

Do you have the latest version of OU? I fixed a bug in Last Sim in a recent version (4.1.0e to be exact) that, although I can't remember exactly, I thought was this issue. If you have that version or later, zip up your csv files, PM me where to pick them up, and I can take a look.

Hey Guys and Getch,

Getch helped us alot with his OOTPOU for the SIMBL and we all love it. Great work Getch again.

One question when I emailed Getch. Our export tracker doesn't show red or black for old and new exports as I see when other leagues have used it.

Getch told me it may be a game setting that keeps the old exports different from the new export in colors:

For the time on exports, it's set to the server time and as of now you can't change it, but that's a good idea for something to add to the utility.

For the exports being blue/red, I think you need to set up OOTP to keep old exports or something for it to work; it only does that if you use the correct setting, but I forget which one it is in-game.

I know about widgets and stats and stuff, I've heard it from others. Some day soon, life is busy at the moment. -Getch

Anybody know about this setting and where to find it as Getch suggested?

From my old readme, there should be options in the Online League setup screen or Commish Portal.

Delete on Import: If this method is used, new exports will have a date and time associated with it, and teams with old exports will have “No Export” next to them.

Don’t Delete, but Do Not Backup on Import: If this option is used, there will be a data and time associated with any team that has exported in the past.

Backup Exports after Import: If this option is used, there will be a data and time associated with any team that has exported in the past. Additionally, all old exports will be colored red, and new exports will be colored blue.

Hi Getch,

I've been running your great utility for years but now I've encountered a problem. I'm running the utility for OOTP 12 and it's worked flawlessly since I upgraded to 12 when that version of the game first came out. Now all of a sudden I can't login to the utility and I'm the only one who would have admin rights. I do have two "users" in the game, one unemployed and the other a team manager (my main account) but it's been this way forever and hasn't caused a problem.

I've tried to login both through Firefox & IE9 and I keep having the same problem. I can login to my team account but when I click on any link I'm logged back out.

Any help would be appreciated.

We're having the same problem in FOBL (for OOTP v13), and the same problem just started happening. I can log in, but when I click on the "dev" link, I get kicked out. Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

@sjshaw: If I don't hear back from Getch this weekend my next idea is to try to create a new, unemployed GM in the game and set him as an admin. Then when I update the GMs in the utility I should be able to login using the default password as an admin and fix everything else....I hope.

If that doesn't work I have no idea what to do.

$expire = 'Thu, 2 Aug 2020 00:00:00 UTC';

The old code had it set to expire:

$expire = 'Sun, 09-09-2012 00:00:00 GMT';

I guess when I first wrote OU I never thought we'd still be here 6 years later . God help me if I have to fix the 2020 expiration date.
