No, if you're playing with the MLB quickstart with default settings, the game handles the HOF inductions right when the playoffs end and the offseason begins.

The patch changes everything that has been modified since the last version. So, I suggest backing up your custom stuff before installing the patch.

Will the patch alter anything with league files? Photos? Logos? I want to be sure my online league file is not altered. I'm already waiting to patch until my inaugural draft ends next week but just wanna be sure...

Or just customized preferences as described above with the backgrounds etc will be reset?
