Removing Picks From Round 1?

Is it possible to remove picks from round 1? In our league some teams failed to sign players two years in a row with their pick and they still get compensated for it in the following draft.

The negative is each year it just keeps adding a pick to the next draft. Is it possible to remove picks from the round?

Either in game or in the game settings folder?

Oh, turn off compensatory picks. That'll solve that problem.

It would but some teams still need compensatory picks for those who only failed to sign their pick for the past draft not two.

MLB allows a pick to carry over minus 1-slot to the previous year if a pick is failed to sign but if they pick (-1) the following year goes unsigned that pick is lost.

In OOTP that pick continues to carry itself over. We had one team pushed back for almost 5 seasons.

OOTP won't fix it to mirror MLB rules. You either have to turn picks off, assign the picks to another team or allow them to draft and then release the player.
