I noticed that under the team name where it shows the team record and place in division, it shows the wrong division. It seems to be just teams in the minors of an affiliated league

The attached image is from the Florida State League in the Majors quickstart. The divisions in the FSL are North and South

This may have been reported but.... If it hasn't been reported I will submit a ticket.

-Looking at 'Amateur Draft Pool'.
-Click on a player to bring up their 'Player Profile'. In the upper right hand corner you can move to the next player or previous player in the list.
-Click on any of the tabs, ie; Pitching stats or history.
-Click on 'back arrow' (upper left hand side near player portrait) and you go back to the 'profile' page of the player profile.
-The 'Scouted by' pulldown now comes back over the buttons to move back and forth through the players.
-Can get the back and forth buttons back by clicking on any tab then back on profile.

-If you do the same thing starting on a tab other than 'Profile' going to another tab and then back arrow and those 'back and forth' keys just disappear.

Appears that if you use the 'back arrow' it either misplaces the 'scouted by' pull down or just looses the back/forth arrows.

First image is the starting point on 'Pitching stats', I got to the second by clicking the 'History' tab, third image after using the 'back arrow' to move back to the 'pitching stats'.

Ok i am having issues with my resolution. I am trying to get it so that i can have the game windowed and when it seems like the bot of the screen is cut off....i have tried all of them and this still seems to be a problem....it happens on the main screen as well as in the game...can someone help me out?

I'm playing a historical 1901 League. The strategy page is setup for 4 man rotations. All the computer teams keep using 5 man rotations.

BTW, Markus and everyone that helped make this game, I just want to thank you all, it is wonderful.

Contracts working correctly?

Started 1871 and now in 1872 season. Using reserve clause financials. Many players in 1872 have contracts that expired after the 1871 season and "remaining salaries" are for the prior season.

I was in the creation wizard and accidentally clicked '20' division in one of the sub leagues and the game opened up two error boxes and then crashed. I fooled around with it a couple of times and realized starting at 17 divisions and up it crashes the game.

I assure you, OOTP13 is giving out far more often than it should. The cutoff should be ~12.4M or so. I've seen a team lose a pick for half that.

Attempting to put together a historical (random-debut) league starting in 1871.

Tampering with the modifiers (some of them are absurdly ridiculous)

When I get to the loading screen and it says "purging players" the game stops working.

Is that a bug? It's gotta be right?

Is this a bug, or is there some sort of workaround? I am simming a test fictional league in commissioner mode just to see how associations work. I have the active roster set at 25, but I get an error in the Association Series that New York has an illegal active roster (25).

I have had this happen a couple of times. I make a trade/free agent offer and the offer disappears. For example, I made a trade offer to the Dodgers and got the "Give us a few days to think about it message". But then, after a day or two, the offer disappears and after two weeks, I still didn't get a message from the Dodgers declining the trade. I also offered a contract to a free agent, but the same thing. After a day or two, the offer disappeared and I didn't get a message agreeing to or declining the offer. I'm not sure if the offers are disappearing, or the offers are being declined and I'm not being notified.

One that seems consistent..
1. I'm on the off season screen observing FA offers and transactions
2. a trade is reported in upper right box
3. F4 is my bookmark key to go to league home screen
4. news is set to "transaction" tab
5. after trade I hit f4 as I find it easier to see the trade there
6. this gives me the message and then game closes

Don't know if this happens 100% of the time but it does seem to be a trigger for the close down.


I have also had random(?), (haven't found an exact cause) error\close down messages. I think they have all happened either using a bookmark key or right clicking to exit a player card(however exiting a player card via right click only crashes the game very rarely). I think, but can't say for sure, that most if not all of these issues happen after some type of transaction followed by me either opening a player card or the news to get a closer look at the players involved.

Sorry can't be more specific. Also heading out to work soon and won't be home 'til late tonight. If a file of mine is needed to look at it let me know but I'm afraid it won't be 'til tonight before I can send anything.

Update on my situation.

Was able to reproduce this 100% of the time. Every time a transaction occurred and I hit f4 to go to the league home page OOTP13 would crash.

Went to tech support to log the bug and checked the knowledge database.
Bookmarks were not mentioned but it was mentioned that sometimes ootp would crash due to a corrupted filter or view with a suggestion to remove these from the game, make new ones, and see if that fixed the crash. Well, if a corrupt filter could cause a crash maybe a corrupt bookmark could too?

Went in and cleared all of my bookmarks, recreated my bookmarks, and went to the offseason center to test. Advanced until transactions happened two times. Both times my "new" bookmarks took me to the league homepage without crashing the game. Unless something else comes(crossing fingers) up I'm writing this off as a bookmark that somehow became corrupted during import from v12 to v13.

First off, you need to release your license. Go to Preferences -> License. After releasing your license try doing a complete uninstall and reinstall. After reinstalling you will need to click on the License button and put in your Serial number. Then try loading a new league AND shutting down the game.

Please let us know the results.

FA compensation is not functioning correctly. See the amateur draft thread for details, but from what we can see too many players are being given comp-eligibility status.

Bug on historical replay leagues regarding stamina. I had a problem develop in OOTP 12 and now again in OOTP 13 where somehow the stamina of starting pitchers in historical play is routinely 17 or higher, resulting in stats where a guy like Aaron Sele of the 2000 Mariners, for example, had 14 complete games. Everyone else in the rotation had a stamina of 17 or higher and also had a bunch of complete games. I adjust the strategy settings to try and compensate, but they keep throwing 150+ pitches in a game and get complete games all the time. HELP!!! This is so absurd.

The strategy settings by the way are also completely out of whack. Most recent example - 1998 Dodgers - for innings 7 & 8, trailing by 2 runs - the default strategy setting for hooking starting pitchers is all the way to the right on SLOW. Come on, now...

I find this on every team in every year I've tried so far. I don't get it nor do I get how to change it.

Hey guys. I am having issues getting the all in one mod ballparks mod to load in leagues you use the creation wizard to create. I can't even seem to import them manually.

Quickstart leagues I can get them in no problem. Leagues where you use the MLB setup using the creation wizard I can not get the ballparks in there for the life of me. Talked about it some in this thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d-central.html

IIRC, when you click the "Ask Manager" button, the AI will re-assign the pitcher's roles since the AI goes by how the pitchers are rated. If you have a SP that's rated more like a MR the AI will switch the two and vice versa. The AI will even assign the pitchers how it thinks they should appear in the rotation. Much the same thing can be said about the Lineups - who starts where and who rides the pine on the bench.

Bottom line....its all done by ratings.
