I guess he thought it was cute and wanted it to have its own post so more people could see it. It isn't cute though, it is borderline offensive.

Revoke his OOTP privileges, whilst an OOTP forum enquiry takes place and if found guilty, send him to the electric chair! If that doesn't teach him then nothing will.

I guess the moral here is that haters gonna hate.

You're welcome. I figured that anything to make people here smile and make this week go faster would be a good thing. But it seems like there's always a Grinch.

I'm trying to figure out what's offensive about this.

I always liked MD. Years ago we discussed our mutual affection for Vin Scully. Iirc we were both listening to him about the same time. I'm sorry to hear about his health and wish him the best in recovering.

I find it offensive that he is making a mockery of someones religion. Leading his uncle and mother on like that, when they have deeply held beliefs is just wrong.

Let his family worry about being offended.

He smiles when he hears it, and says, "And here I thought you'd been drifting away from the Church for years. Will you be fasting?"

"Most likely," I told him, remembering all too many meals skipped in the past right after a new OOTP version came out. And I have drifted away from the Church, and that really hurts him and my mother. He went away delighted, off to find and tell my mother the good news, who was so pleased she left tne kitchen to give me a hug.

So thank you, Markus, for setting up a release date that inadvertently helped me out with my family.
It's a nice story. Some people don't get that we are here to share our feelings about this wonderful game and our excitement about the impending release. Keep the stories coming.

Trust me after 10 years on the forums I understand about sharing feelings and excitement about the game. Just not so cool when the story is offensive and prompts anti-religious sentiment.

Pretty sure he wasn't intending to offend. Let's not get all Taliban about it. No offense intended, of course.

Wspahn21 must be one of wolf's relatives, because I can't see how anyone else could get offended by this parable.

I'm sorry, I am a pastor of a church, and I found the OP's story hilariously funny!

You have got to be kidding me. Those of you that know me from around these boards know I stay out of the tit and tat online hissy fits. But this has really got to me. I won't say who or what is making me fel anti-religious sentiment but I'll give you a hint, it isn't Wolf.

MikeS I wish every Pastor in the world was like you sir. Thank you for not being hyper-sensative and thank you for the good I'm sure you do for your community.
