I'm hitting refresh every 15 minutes waiting for the updated rosters. I was going to start with the Giants, then all the free agents signed minor league deals and I was so confused. Then Prince Fielder signed with the Tigers IRL. I may have to do a franchise with them now ::REFRESH::

Quick rundown of the FA issue for anyone who ever does roster sets - you can actually edit the contracts OF free agents. It appears that this effects their demands. So when you zero out the free agent version of Prince's contract, he settles for a minor league deal. Interesting.

I actually acted as Detroit's GM and offered him the same contract he signed for IRL and he still signed for a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox

New file is up!

Only posting the updated ML roster one since the other wasn't effected by the bug. For those who downloaded the 11/1/11 transaction file, I would recommend setting cash max to 2.5M and perhaps knocking up the national/local TV deals 10M or so.

I adjusted those on this file, please let me know if you are seeing $$ issues for teams in 2013 and we'll continue to tweak.

Next file due out sometime in early/mid February and will likely be the final one before I hunker down on OOTP13 work - will include all of the unfinished ZiPS projections & BA rankings.

How does one change the name of the owner from Bud Selig and change his age?

just a thought but could the financials be getting thrown off because every stadium is identical in capacity?

I think that is because the second major league (Major American League) is still in this save. Deleting it before you advance a day should fix this, I believe.

Yep. Before advancing a day, delete the Major American League. Problem fixed.

What I usually do is create a new human manager. Go to the drop down menu and select "add/edit human manager" and create your new manager. Then assign them to whatever team you desire. With Cubby's rosters I usually leave Bud alone and switch to him when I need to edit something.

Here we go. Uploaded with the extra major league deleted. Noticed that the 2011 draft picks had screwy histories, so I fixed that too.

Most of the teams stadiums are set to the default game stadium, not the actuals. I went through in mine and corrected all the seating capacity numbers in the actual parks then went through each team and redirected them to the real park. For most, there is two of the same but the real one has different park factor settings and the default is always set at 42,000. You just need to redirect your team to the other stadium.

right i did all that as well but that could be a reason the financials are off because every year at the end of 2012 teams have way less people through the gates than normal.
