Good news: only 7 unreleased teams in ZiPS, 4 in BA's top 10, so we are also close to a finished copy of the rosters!
Hey cubby could you list the teams that don't have the zip ratings yet?

Almost wrapped things up last night but I was too pooped to finish it up. Doing final touches on the long-term salaries signed so far and then the set will be up. Should be tonight but don't want to make any promises.
I guess lucky for the rest of us that the 9ers couldn't get it done!

Not like it would have mattered, the Patriots would have killed them just like they'll kill the Giants in 2 weeks.

File up shortly. 2011 prospects added, some ratings updated, prospect ratings done for the National League, jersey problems fixed. Stadiums still not updated, will be in the last release along with final ratings.

Will be two files up tonight, a start of offseason file and current one.

What is the difference between the two files? I know it probably seems simple to most but I am a bit confused?

Which one has all the trades made and new draft picks involved?

2012 CubbyFan Rosters, v2.0 (updated roster moves)

2012 CubbyFan Rosters, v1.2 (roster moves as of 11/1/11)

Both files have draftees added to them from 2011, updated ratings, etc. Only difference is the first has guys like Pujols, etc. added.

Enjoy!

Getting something odd...as soon as I advance a day, all of the top free agents available (like Fielder, for example...this is in the updated roster set) sign a minor league deal with one team.

I think I just thought of what is causing it, quick fix and can make it tomorrow after work for those who can wait.

same thing happened to me

tried to put them back in the free agent pool, they jumped to another team with a minor league contract.

Cubby, I think you have two leagues here or something. Go to commish mode and then available jobs.

Ack! I had imported the draft guys that way but there's a strong chance I forgot to delete the league after I was done. I'll check that tonight. Mini-update tonight.

I think I did. I am playing a 2012 season and went to game setup, historical and then unchecked the Automatically import historical rookies box. WOrked like a charm.
What was getting me was that the draft would have issues when i came up to it. I scheduled a 30 round draft and it only generated players for 10. ALso it didn't give me the option to create players for X amount of rounds. Once I unchecked that box, both problems have disappeared.
Hope this helps.

Another issue to look into Cubby, if you can. When I got to the end of 2012, most teams had -30,000,000 or close to it in cash. Maybe put a cash max in, because no free agents were signing since projected budgets were being dragged down to 0 because of the negative cash.
