06/16 Update - Crunch time

Hey guys,

we are extremely busy at the moment, fixing the last bugs and doing final tweaking. The game is in very good shape and will be good to go on Monday. There's still lots of work to do, but we'll manage it

I was able to squeeze in a few surprise features I will tell you about tomorrow, by the way.

Sorry that we haven't been able to tease you with many RTR articles or screenshots this year, but it has been extremely hard for us to find any free time besides programming, I hope you understand. With iOOTP and OOTP 12 development running simultaneously for almost a year now, we were definitely at our limits. But it's worth it, both games are simply great, and I am sure you'll love OOTP 12

Cheers,
Markus

Awesoe Markus THANKS!!!!!!!

Anyway if you can tell me if the problem I posted about here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ustrating.html is taking care of in 12. If it is I will go purchase it right now. (and by right now I mean literally this second.) :-)

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I love that the lead developer has such a direct line of communication with the community.

As much as I want you to grow and become prosperous, the selfish side of me wants you to stay small so we don't lose this intimate level of communication.

Woo hoo for Monday's release!

He won't announce a time. He won't know exactly and he won't want the servers flooded.

No, no, no. Just leave time for the drinking. All else is coding.

I wonder how many of us would have the ability and the drive to do what Markus does every year.

You sir have my utmost respect.

Now, what was that release time we discussed?

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'd rather you took an entire day off of programming so that you can put together a high-quality newsletter complete with pics and so on. In fact, I think we'd all accept the release of the game an entire week late.

I might have to stay up late on Sunday just in case.

I definitely need to get my current season over so I can have it waiting to import!
