The MLB2K series is not the Holy Grail of baseball games or anything, but it is an enjoyable graphic-based baseball game for the PC. The only one still being made.

It also has a feature I like -- the opportunity to take the role of a single player trying to make it to and succeed in the Majors. Now if ITP 2.0 were out, maybe I wouldn't have time for MLB2K11. . . .

I'm interested in OOTP's product, and if it comes out before OD, I want it and will buy it. If it comes out after OD, I don't want it anymore. And I certainly don't need it. So why would I spend money on something I don't want or need?
Do you stop playing when the season ends?

Where do we go to bitch about bugs and patches?

.........and I didn't ask you why either. By the way, would you be interested in a wager that the game is out before the season is half over? I'll take 'before halfway' if you'll take 'after halfway'.

Your point is certainly valid. You're reasoning, on the other hand, is complete crap.

FTR, its not a 'new season's game', its a new version of a piece of software.

If this game is not out by opening day it basically isn't a baseball game! That makes it more of a soccer game! Don't you people understand!? Also, it should be perfectly patched and allow me to play for several hundred hours without experiencing anything weird!

So I guess it's just not a OOTP release unless there are a few bugs at least?

Talk about the upcoming OOTP 12, to be released in Spring 2011!

If you can't wait on OOTP 12 then try buying Puresim baseball 4 it will be released on march 22 ,2011. It has the same features If not more then OOTP 12. Just a heads ups on the games. Sports mogul really hasn't said when baseball mogul 2012 will be out but like ootpdevelopments they said in march. So we all have to assume that its probably will released by opening day which is march 31st. I do think that ootpdevelopments misleading all of us because they say in the spring well that could be april, may, or even june for all we know. But the bottom line here is we all have to wait until its out. Is it really worth preordering ootp 12 I mean the game will not be out until late in the spring so preorder it. All you really are doing is saving like 10 bucks big deal. Like I said there are other two other baseball sims that will be out sooner that I think will give ootp 12 a run for its money, baseball mogul 2012 and puresim baseball 4. You should try both of them out until ootp 12 is out.

If the game is release in may it isn't a problem at all for me since I won't be ready to order before this month (as I've done every year since OOTP 2007). I continue to have a lot of fun with my franchise on OOTP 11 and since I'm always in the 19th century I couldn't care less if the game is release in march, april, may, june or november...

If you think that Puresim 4 will have all the features that OOTP 12 will have then there's a bridge that I want to sell to you. Real quickly.

How so? I play MLB on my 360....that's it.

I'm in online leagues on 6.5, 9, and X right now...5 leagues in total..plus some solo time here and there.

I've bought every version of this game since STB.

It's not unfortunate...it's called branching out.

I played ITP until my figures bleed...well maybe not literally..but I put some serious time into it. Really wish 2.0 would happen...but who knows.

MLB2k is a great series. MLB Front Office...now that was an epic fail.

Are you telling me that the condo I bought in Sandy Shores AZ doesn't have water?

I should have realized when the brochure mentioned beaches, "as far as the eye can see".
