Thanks for the hard work, Cubby. You always produce tremendous roster sets, and the early-offseason ones are my favorites. When following real-life hot stove is not enough, loading up an off-season Cubby roster set with free agency set and ready to go is what gets me through the winters.

Agreed! I find the offseason to be at least as fun for me as anything else in OOTP. Any estimate on when this roster might be available?

Diamondbacks and Braves completed -- will also be including an updated facepack (Uggla, Maybin, etc.) with the roster set when it comes out. No ETA as of yet. Had to end up reimporting the data, so we have Gold Glovers in there as well and it looks like I went 6/6 on awards. Not bad.

Also planning on releasing both a "End of Season" version, pre-signings and trades, as well as an updated version at release date, although that could change.

Ditto. Plus, with the amount of editing I do myself, I'd be quite content with only having Major Leaguers and Minor Leaguers imported. I usually spend a few days tweaking the ratings of just about every player myself.

Working away -- updating ratings takes quite a bit of time so it'll still be a bit. Hoping for a release this month and will keep you all in the loop as we get closer!

Wow man, this is an INSANE project to undertake. I used to help out a modder with his roster sets for MVP 05 and thought that was a difficult task. To do all this, by yourself... wow. Kudos, dude!

Alright guys - MLB hitters should be finished by this weekend, rerated with 2010 stats, rating updates, fielding updates. I'll hit the pitchers and I'm hoping to have a rough copy out by December 31 (tentative).

Keep in mind that version will have zero work (or minimal) done with the minor leagues, but I thought folks would enjoy playing around with that for a bit while I fine tune the minors.

More to come as it develops.

One quick question...will we have updated rosters with the new trades/signings like Cliff Lee be in Philly and Zack Greinke in Milwaukee? Will we be able to quickstart a game that start in these very days (December) rather than the usual one in March?

While I can't speak for cubby, but have used them for years, they will most likely be the start of free agency.
