Buy OOTP 11 or Wait for OOTP 12?

I currently have OOTP 9 and wanted to buy OOTP 11. Should I buy it now or wait for OOTP 12? Not sure how far away that release is but not sure if I should spend that money now or wait for the next installment. Or should I stick with OOTP 9?

Any help? Thanks.

I can't offer up any advice but if the schedule is anything like last year, expect information to come out sometime in February with the game coming out sometime in mid to late April.

You've got six months of waiting for 12....I'd buy 11...

i doubt that there will be too many changes from 11 to 12 but there r a ton from 9 -11. but i have played 9 as a free download, and i like 11 compared to what i knew of 9. for the price i wish i would have waited til atleast 4th of july to buy 11 and i will wait atleast that long to buy 12

Definitely 11. I'm in the camp that believes a version is not really ready until the last patch has been released and that's not been until maybe the ASG (mid July) at the earliest or around the World Series like this year at the latest. So rather than a 4 month wait when it might be released at the earliest (unlikely), I figure we've got more like an 11 month wait until OOTP12. You might as well enjoy 11 in the meantime.

DO NOT BUY 11 !

Unless you want the most addictive OOTP ever made.

OOTP11 is really by far the best release. Money well spent for the next 6 months and could be the last version that you will ever need.

You will more than get your money's worth by purchasing OOTP 11. I buy every version and can say with certainty this is my favorite OOTP. I highly recommend it!

Thanks guys, with all this positive feedback on how good OOTP11 is, I will buy it right now and loose myself in the game for awhile.

I made the jump from 9 to 11 and the new version is well worth the price. For me, the improvements were done well while still keeping the foundational parts of the game intact.

I'd buy 11. I think it's going to be tough for 12 to get much better.
Oh, I see you're going to buy it. Have fun!!!

Nothing to add but agreement that v11 is worth buying now.

Now that's a great point that's not made often enough. Often, I'll buy a sports game when it comes out, but then it'll just sit there until a patch or two comes out.

Great choice.. I typically play games that the real sport is currently in season for.. I'm still playing OOTP 11 even though baseball has long ended its season.

I'm really wondering what Markus and camp has up their sleeves for v12.

Good choice Snowflake11. I would add that while it is *counts on fingers* four months until 12.0.1 comes out, it could be up to 10 months until 12.?.? (final patch) comes out and as kq76 says, that one is worth waiting for. There's still plenty of time to enjoy OOTP11, so...enjoy it. Cheers.
