There's a force start at a position but is there a force start at a spot in batting order?
I know there's a way to force your coaches to start a player at a position, but what if you want to force start someone at say the leadoff spot, is there a way to do this?
If not, I think it'd be a good feature to include in the next update! :P |

No this isn't an option. Whats weird is I had this thought yesterday while playing the game. It would be a great addition.

I want force for a lineup spot, and also a force for slots on the pitching staff.

Can't you do this by using 7-day lineups?

i think he's referring to when you have the AI set your lineup. Similar to the function that allows you to force a player into a specific defensive position.

You can select No starting subs allowed.

To go along with the above, a "Force Stay in ___(R,SA,A,AA,AAA,ML)" would be nice, too.

I'd like a force start at position based on pitcher handedness. For instance, I want my weak hitting, but okay against righties, SS to start against righties, but not against lefties.
Yeah, you can do it in the lineups, but it's nice to use the force function and let the AI figure out the rest.
