This is great news...and I have to say that it stays in the grand tradition of ill-timing with my personal life. 2 years ago I had moved across the country and lived apart from my wife for 3 months. So of course that year's version of OOTPB came out THE DAY that she arrived after her cross-country trip.

This year...my wife is carrying our first child and the due date is April 19th! So it will be an interesting count-down to see which comes first. Either way I'll be happy, of course, but if one comes before the other I may be playing the game after the first (or second) patch has come out.

Congrats on getting this year's version out at the beginning of the season and can't wait to play it...whenever that may be.

It's been a sad day for me here. I decided to go through my programs, and I saw that OOTP8 and OOTP9 are still on my computer. Having OOTP X probably means I will never revisit those old versions of OOTP, since I am buying OOTP 11, but it really took me some long, deep thought before I hit the uninstall button on those old friends of mine.

It also made me realize just how many hours over just this laptop I have spent enjoying these fine games. So, thanks Markus. You've had a bigger impact on my life than both of my ex-wives. Hell, OOTP might even be part of the reason they are ex-wives.

Now release the dang game before I get married again!

As a Blue Jays "fan", I could only wish for the problems that the White Sox have.

Knowing that OOTP 11 is coming out in a couple weeks has just improved the outlook for spring.

Having grown up in Wash, DC I am a fan of Washington teams so......being a Redskins/Wizards/Nationals fan, I could only hope to go through the level of anguish Toronto fans go through.

I'm good with downloading this on April 13th so I don't have to wait while the rest of you are downloading on the 12th with extremely slow transfer rates. Plus I'll get to see the insane posts that will fly 5 seconds after the first download hits a computer.

What do you think the over/under will be on the number of people screaming......I downloaded the game and it is not working?
