No matter what is announced, someone on this forum will complain. It's always been that way.

This version is so good and so well-tested that it won't need a patch!

Uh-oh, why is my nose suddenly getting longer?

Eriq is just upset because by the time the game is released, the White Sox will be out of the race for the AL Central.

Thanks for the heads up. I happen to have that week off and before this didn't have anything that I had to do.

Should mesh well with my current game. I play 'em all out and have 55 games left in my season. Going to have to pick up the pace to get to the off season by the 12th.

There'd still be 'issues'

----
Most of the time the Manager Home button works fine, but when I'm wearing my gimp suit hanging upside down from the ceiling clips with my mouse coated in lube it just crashes to the desktop. I can't believe the game wasn't tested under these conditions :annoyed:

Surely the same would be true if the game was released on Opening Day

No. That would be true for the Orioles.

Hey, if it's perfect in another 12 days, it doesn't matter!

Haha. Say what you will about the fact WSox fans knowing they'll be out of the central early, I'd prefer early knowledge. The Twins are usually so inconsiderate they need an extra game to win the Central and lose the Division Series.

Hey, all I can say is, last year we released 66 days after Opening Day, and this year it will be 8 days after Opening Day, despite the fact that we lost nearly 2 months of our development and testing cycle time because of last year's late release.

So, I'm pretty proud of April 12/14!

But yes, we will strive to release OOTP 12 on or before Opening Day next year!

Thanks everyone for your positive vibes. We hope you enjoy the game!!

Even if it were released by opening day the Pirates would already be eliminated.. In fact, they're already eliminated for 2011..and 2012..and 2013..and...you get the picture.

The White Sox were out of it after the Winter Meetings.
