great work Cubby, You da man! (is that still what the kids say nowadays)

Had a look at the Brewers as they are the only team I know anything about really. Mike Burns is a free agent and Hernan Iribarren was claimed off waivers by Texas.

Don't know if you'll want to change these or not but thought i'd let you know as I know you like to get things right.

Just wondering if the release in a few days will have this seasons schedule? I just noticed that it isn't the 2010 when I load up the game. Unfortunately I realized it after I made some moves and got through spring training

Since the download is just the .dat files, how exactly do we load that into OOTP?

Download it as normal and then extract the files.

This will then give you a folder with the dat files in. Rename that folder something .lg for example 2010.lg and then put it in you saved game folder.

Then fire up OOTPX and it should be there when you select load game.

Question though, when i go to load the saved game its having an issue with the world.dat file. Obviously nobody else is having this issue, but what could be the problem.

Can I just copy them into a brand new existing game?

Make sure you have the latest patch -- usually that's what creates that issue.

Okay thanks. I've never been able to get my version to update. I have version 10.2.16. I'll do the patch, but the version doesn't change.

I might suggest completely uninstalling OOTP and reinstalling it to get it to patch correctly.

Still doesn't work. I've tried it multiple times. I've used default folders a couple of times and even used created folders. I always put them in the same directory but it doesn't ever update. Everything acts like its gonna work, but when I reopen the game it still shows the old version.

But I just wanted to nitpick about the ratings of some Twins hitters. Morneau, Cuddyer, and Kubel all seem too lowly rated to me. For instance, Buster Olney called the Twins line up the best in baseball, and that's not baring out in OOTP; he also said Kubel was the most underrated player. I'd say Kubel and Morneau need contact bumps (and Morneau should get a bit of power bump), and Cuddy needs a power and gap bunt. That's my two cents. Good job on the Twins prospects, they seem pretty spot-on.

Psuedo, you need to consider all guys are underrated. There are no 10 power guys at all and even the top pitchers have flaws. The whole ratings system it seems was lowered.
