Now you're almost compelled to edit one of your star players' names to Damien Theomen III, aren't you?

I learned something today. Your screen name isn't a run-together version of Damien The Man

Considering that in the old days news reporters sometimes named teams after a manager, that's kind of neat.

Completely irrelevantly, Tommy Heinsohn was my favorite NBA player back in the 50's & 60's. God, I remember watching him play for Holy Cross. He was also a good coach and later (and still) a great broadcasting color man. I believe he still does color on Celtic home games.

LOL

One of the worst homer broadcasters ever. And some genius at CBS decided he should be the national color commentator for the classic Lakers v Celtics battles in the 80's. Thankfully for Heinsohns everywhere, Markus redeemed the family name.

I love Tommy! Yes he's a homer, but he's a good broadcaster, and offers smart insight (with a Celtics bias, true), plus he's funny as heck. And I actually waited on him once in a restaurant years ago. Very nice man.

Im sure he's a great guy. But refering to the Celtics as 'we' during a national telecast might be carrying things too far.
