On top of that, I think I could pretty much name a GM for every team quite easily. For example, the teams I posted would have the following GMs: Dunder-Mifflin: Michael Scott, Hill Valley: George McFly (Managed by Doc Brown, equipment manager = Bif Tannen),Vandelay: George Costanza (Owned by Art Vandelay), Zoso: John Henry Bonham, and Jordania: Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Definitley one of my favorites. |

Lots you can do with some of the stadium graphics out there. Just need a little imagination and a whole lot of time. Last edited by DreamTeams; 05-26-2009 at 05:47 PM. |

In any fictional league I set in the USA, I always find myself either having a minor league team or occasionally a major league team in Austin, TX, named the Powers.

Most of my fictionals are based on a college or real team, except for these (as far as I know aren't real teams somewheres):
Atlanta Aeros Arkansas Power Memphis Barons Chicago Black Sox Cleveland Tribe Milwaukee Beers Philadelphia Posse New Jersey Sopranos San Diego Surf Colorado State Miners San Francisco Stallions Los Angeles Riots Las Vegas Gangsters

Hey Arlie, the Trotters would also probably have their bases "loaded" quite often too. Or give new meaning when they say, "The Trotters have the bases juiced." Last edited by kckid4u; 05-27-2009 at 04:03 PM. |

I tell ya, Kid, no one appreciates the Freshest Man on Earth, no matter how warm and runny my zingers are.
Here comes Leo Pupo Len Pupo Minor League Statistics & History - Baseball-Reference.com recently called up from the Scranton Team to fill in that left field injury left by catcher/left-fielder Homer Shatley Homer Shatley Minor League Statistics & History - Baseball-Reference.com Pupo is hitting .270 for the Tampa Trotters since being called up, and is more than carrying the team load. He also leads the league in being caught stealing. He once drew the ire of his manager after jogging back to the dugout lackadaisically after being tossed out for trying to steal third with two outs. Len Pupo Minor League Statistics & History - Baseball-Reference.com All Leo did was just mumble something about the batter fouling too many pitches off and ran into the club house.

I was thinking about making a league based on the league that drove J. Henry Waugh insane.
New York Knickerbockers Troy Haymakers Baltimore Pastime Club Boston Beaneaters Philadelphia Keystones Brooklyn Bridegrooms Brooklyn Excelsiors ?? Pioneers I can't find the city that used Pioneers in the mid-late 19th century and I probably don't want 2 Brooklyns, so I'm stuck. I'll probably opt for Pittsburgh Pioneers (most western city) and Washington Plumbers to replace the Bridegrooms. |

The first six teams in the Centenary League (founded 1877) will be:
Brooklyn Knights - Northwest Chapter Park Colours: Blue and Silver Queens Baseball Club - The Queens Baseball Club Colours: Black and White Manhattan Saracens - Hudson Bank Park Colours: Green and Blue Philadelphia Liberty - Pennyslvania Park Colours: Red, White and Blue Boston Adams - Tremont Street Colours: Blue and White Pittsburgh Black Caps - Southside Field Colours: Black and Yellow In 1881, we expand to Pittsburgh and Buffalo, but in 1885, the Saracens and the Black Caps will leave the CL, to become founding members of the Abraham Lincoln Baseball Championship (to become the Lincoln League, and then possibly be renamed to the Presidents League), and teams in Washington and Toledo will be added to the CL. I have more expansion planned, but that's the basics. When we get to 12 teams (around the mid-1890s), we will probably split into two divisions, and have a Championship Series. |

Thanks, and oh yea...but I didn't design them...that work was done by NoPepper (one of the best uni/logo designers in the OOTP realm). Here is an example of some of his work:
